I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

This and That

Sorry, nothing wild and sexy today, just some stuff I want to tell everyone.

How’s you credit—

I may be the only person that did not know this but in case I’m not I had to share the following with my friends. I found out that every time you apply for credit you credit rate goes down. If you chose to get a new or different card, your credit rating goes down. Sign up for the stores credit card to get that 10% off, your credit rating goes down. WHAT!! I don’t care if I ask for credit 100 times; if I pay everything on time why should that bring the score down. But even if you pay every penny right on time your score goes down. So if you were like me and always said “Sure, sign me up, I’ll take the 10% off” Stop!!!

Reason to exercise—

I want to tell you the real reason I have been going to the gym so much. Paul goes there to walk! Okay, it may not be our Paul, but he fits my mental image of Paul so much I was startled the first time I saw him. He is probably in his late 60’s, just under 6ft., and slender. He has white hair and he is very handsome. He doesn’t wear sweats, just casual street clothes. He just looks like a college professor, so dignified. I have to grin every time I see him. So tell me Paul how close am I to being right??

Time to brag—

My son is off to a great start at college. He is a theater major. His goal is Broadway. They had tryouts for the first play the second day of college. Although freshmen rarely get parts he was determined to audition. The next day he called so excited – he had a call back! Then the next call - he had a part! One hundred eighty people auditioned for 30 speaking parts and he was cast along with 2 other freshman, two girls he had become friends with last year at our state’s Governor’s School. I don’t sound like a proud mom or anything do I?

Eva comes back tomorrow! I am dying to find out about her toys and how their vacation went. Meet you all over at Nothing Random tomorrow!

  1. So Elis, you have every right to be the proud mom, go for it girl.
As for your description, I wish, 70+, a fraction under 6', grey hair, solid rather than slim, with a small pot, yes mostly casual clothes, but handsome, who's to say!!!
    Big hugs,

  2. Hiya sweetie! Sounds like you pegged our Paul to a tee, eh? I knew he would disagree but his disagreements are exactly why he holds such appeal. And I agree, too, about the professorly image... that's what I picture in my mind, um fantasies, um mind, too! Handsome is of course a frame of mind more than physical beauty! And his modesty makes him that much more endearing.

That would definitely inspire me to work out, too!!

Big hugs and I'll see ya tomorrow at Nothing Random!

  3. Ok, the whole credit thing makes me mad. Your right about applying for credit, it does make your credit rating go down. But on the other hand, if your like me, and your trying to improve your credit, apply for a couple of small credit cards and keeping the balance down is a great way to improve your credit score.

As for Paul, I'll be he's handsome however he looks!

Now I have you pegged for a brunette. Hair shoulder length. Early to mid 40's. Probably about 5'6. I can see you in casual jeans and tee, nice little sweater, one button done.

    Am I at all close??

  4. opps, forgot to mention your son. How PROUD are you?!

Congrats to your son. Sounds like he's in for a great year!

  5. Paul,
It may not be a perfect match, but I enjoy seeing him!

It really makes me smile whenever I see him.

Oh how I wish you were right about the looks but no such luck. That is however the way I picture you. Except I know you haven't hit 40 yet! Brunette, yeah well I started out that way but now I need a bit of help keeping it that way. Pressing 50 pretty hard!

I really am proud of the boy. Right now he is the happiest person I know!

Be sure to check my blog tomorrow. I have a thing or two to say to you!!!

  6. Uh oh, should I be scared???

So I was a little off on the age, but you are brunette right? I mean doesn't matter if it's a bottle or not, brunette is brunette!

If you picture me like that, your waaaaaayyyyy off!!

  7. One of three freshmen cast, WOOT, he must be beside himself with glee!!

The credit card game, isn't that just the pits? It's like playing poker with a card sharp who has a loaded deck. There's no way we can win a round.

What fun, you see Paul. as I do. I picture him with a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face when he writes.

In my imagination, Grace is a tall, leggy, blonde with a big smile.

I see you as petite, cuddly, with soft curls and a little Mary Pickford pout!

Can't wait to read about Eva's trip! I'll bet she had a grand time.

    **Big Hugs**
