I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Saturday Spankings - Meeting an old friend

Welcome to Saturday Spankings. I’m still using snippets from Family on the River. Today the ladies are lounging by the pool at the clothing optional resort – Cassie and Sue in their birthday suits, all the rest in bathing suits.

“I’ve been sitting too long,” Cassie said rising to her feet. “I’m going to get a drink. Can I get you girls anything?” Each shook her head no and Cassie headed to the bar.  They watched her go, still amazed at the graceful and dignified way she maneuvered through the area in the buff.

Having gotten used to people averting their eyes most of the time, Allie’s attention was caught by a man walking toward Cassie. He was staring at her as if to memorize her. Allie turned to the girls and whispered, “Watch that guy.”

Cassie passed the man and headed to the bar when he called to her, “Cassie?”

She turned and looked at the man questioningly. She was looking into his face, truly the only safe place to look at a clothing optional resort. After a moment, she said, “Bart?”

For a moment Allie feared that they were going to embrace but instead they quickly held out both hands and clutched them. The girls could hear them talking. “Cassie, oh my God, I can’t believe it’s you. How long has it been?”

Cassie gazed into his face in amazement. “It has to have been more than fifty years,” she told him. “What a wonder we still recognized one another.”

“You haven’t changed a bit,” the man exclaimed.

“And you’ve become such a charming liar,” she told him with a smile.

“Please come and meet my family.” He eagerly followed Cassie over to the area where her friends sat. He pulled up a chair for himself and as he sat, he laid the towel he was carrying in his lap, much to the girls’ relief.

Cassie introduced Annie, Sue and the girls to Bart Winters. He smiled politely at each woman, but it was easy to see he had eyes only for Cassie. Ignoring the rest of the women, he asked, “Cassie, I can’t believe it’s you after all these years. I’d so like to get caught up. Would you join my wife and me for dinner this evening? I’d love to visit and I’d love for you to meet Gloria. She’s heard so much about you.”

Turning a puzzled frown on the man, Cassie asked, “Why on earth would your wife have heard about me?”

“I’ve told her about you. You’re a hard woman to forget.”

Cassie’s puzzled look was turning into one of bewilderment. “Please,” Bart was pushing, “say you’ll join us for dinner.”

“Umm… I … no,” she managed to say. “This is our last evening here and I want to dine with my family.”

The man looked crestfallen. After a moment he suggested, “What about drinks before dinner? You could join us in our suite for a private visit.”

All three girls turned blazing eyes on Cassie. Their looks screamed “NO!” louder than anything spoken. Sue, never known for her tact, asked, “And exactly why do you want to get Cassie to dump us and go off alone with you?”

“I’m sorry,” Bart looked truly shocked. “I didn’t realize how that sounded. It’s just that I truly want to talk about old times with her—things I’m sure the rest of you would have no interest in. And there are things I’ve been wanting to ask Cassie for half a century.” Turning back to Cassie, he asked again. “Please say yes. My wife and I will happily meet you in the bar. It’s just that I may never see you again.”

“All right,” Cassie said abruptly. “I’ll meet you both in the bar at six this evening. I will expect her to be with you,” she insisted.

“Oh, Gloria will be there. She wouldn’t miss this for the world! It was wonderful meeting you ladies.” And with that, he headed to the far side of the pool area, leaving the ladies alone and full of questions.

Everyone turned to stare at Cassie. “What?” she asked defensively. When they said nothing, she went on. “That was Bartholomew Winters. A friend from a long time ago. You know I have a curious nature. I’d like to know why he still remembers me after fifty years. And I’d like to know what questions he’s been holding onto for that long.”

“The question is pretty obvious. He wants to know if you’ll go to bed with him. I think he would have taken you right here if we hadn’t been watching,” Jenny snapped. “What a creep!”

“You have lost your mind,” Cassie told her. “I appreciate you not noticing, but I’m an old woman. I’m most grateful that Tom still wants me, but I don’t think anyone else is lusting after me.”

“He’s an old man!” Lane interjected. “And he definitely has the hots for you. Did you see the towel moving? It was hiding a damned boner!”

Cassie threw back her head and laughed, though no one joined her. “You girls are doing wonders for my ego. But I doubt the man wants me to meet his wife so that he can invite me to his bed. Get a grip.”

Cassie is busier than ever with her growing number of grandchildren. And she’s delighted to learn another is on the way, though the news comes from a very unexpected source. Spending time with the grands and working at the shelter home she created takes up much of her time. Even with all this, she manages to sneak in time for a girls’ trip. Both the location of the trip and a chance encounter with an old friend cause Tom’s spanking hand to itch.

When a severely beaten woman shows up at the Shelter, she    inadvertently brings Cassie and Sue into a dangerous situation. Will Cassie be around to welcome this new grandchild?

Family on the River continues the heartwarming and often humorous story of Cassie’s life.

Cassie’s Space series

These ten books introduce Cassie. She is my friend and has been since she wandered into my imagination fifty-four years ago. She is married to Tom, the man who loves her in a way that makes my heart nearly burst with happiness for the two of them. He loves her, guides her, protects her and when necessary, spanks the fool out of her. I’ve been told that their adventures are exciting, funny and realistic. Their love-life is passionate and fulfilling – but you’ll hear no graphic details, Cassie is a lady and giving too much detail would not be proper.

Cal’s Law series

Cal and Jenny are one of my younger couple. The spanking in their relationship began mere minutes after they met, and Cal hasn’t let up much since. There relationship has it’s struggles, but these two are meant to be together. They live in the same town as Cassie and Tom and there is a lot of interactions among the character of both series. Jenny is not as reluctant as Cassie to openly discuss her sex life, so you’ll find a little more spice in this series.

On the River series

In this, my latest series, everyone is around – all the characters I’ve grown to love over the years are living on the area of the river that they call The Landing. Their lives, their adventures, even their spankings sometimes intertwine. By this time in the series, I’m just typing as my characters tell me what’s happening. And I love it!

These books do take you through time as it passes, but please don’t think you have to read them in order. Start anywhere. Just grab one and give it a try. If you are a spanking enthusiast, I know you'll enjoy it.

I’ll close today with a review on the latest book. This is one of the finest reviews I’ve ever had.

Starting with the first Cassie book until now, I have never been disappointed or failed to wait expectantly for the next one.

Visits, destruction and murder attempts

It’s been while since I’ve put anything up except for Saturday Spankings. There has been stuff happening. LJ and Collin were here the second week in January and it was a good visit. LJ was developing a cold so we actually got to see more of him than usual since he didn’t feel like going out with his other friends around here. We just got to sit and talk.

Nick and Collin have always been polite with one another, but never overly friendly. This time things seemed a little different. They talked more, several time I hear them laughing. Overall they just seemed more comfortable with one another and that’s made me very happy.

Unfortunately, LJ managed to share his cold with us, so I was feeling pretty rough by the time they left and mostly I’ve been sick ever since. It was during the time I felt the worst that Nick decided it was time to rip out the old bathroom and nearly before the boys had taken off the toilet and cabinets were gone – I like a house with at least two toilets. Now instead of about ten steps to the john it’s across the bedroom and down the hall. Definitely a pain in the middle of the night.

As for the murder plot… Nick has tried several times to murder me. Usually, it’s on a hike or something of that nature, but this time it was right at home. My memory may not be perfect, but I definitely remembered helping him carry out the toilet. However, to make sure I didn’t head there in the middle of the night he decided to put the clothes basket in front of the bathroom door. That might have been fine in the daytime, but I go to bed later than Nick. I turn off all the lights and make my way across the bedroom by feel, reach into the bathroom and turn on the light so I can see to get undressed and such. I had no idea the clothes basket was there and … well, you get the picture.

Evidently having a cold energizes Nick because before the next day was out, he and I had removed all the furniture from the bedroom and placed it on the freezing carport. He rips up the carpet and we carry that out too. This moved us into the small bedroom with the double bed, instead of our queen. So now there are six of us in that little room. Nick and me and two cats in the small bed and Mollie’s two dogs on the floor. They make for some pretty good trip hazards themselves. (We’re babysitting while she is in Costa Rica.)

So, there you have my bitching and griping for this week. I’m sure there will be more before it’s all over, but when all is said and done the new bathroom and refreshed bedroom will be beautiful and I’m sure we’ll love it.

Saturday Spankings -

Welcome to Saturday Spankings. I’m putting up snippets from my latest book, Family on the River. After Allie’s pregnancy news Cassie is ready to celebrate with a girls’ trip, and she  searches for just the right place. Arriving at the resort, Cassie, Sue and Annie head to the bar. Lane and the other girls head out to do some exploring.

Everyone headed off. Lane went through a door directing her to the pool and down a long corridor filled with skylights.  Pulling open the door she was delighted with what she saw. The indoor pool was larger than any she’d seen at a hotel before. The water sparkled in the sun-filled room. One whole wall was glass looking out into a small forest and there were skylights overhead that could be opened to regulate the temperature.
On the wall to her left were signs for the sauna and steam room. Farther down that side was a grill/bar. She noticed there was also a swim up bar. Cassie was going to love this place. On the far wall was a door with a sign saying it led to walking trails. A large area was devoted to lounge chairs and small tables.
Letting her eyes roam over the room again, Lane was just turning to see if Allie and Jenny had arrived when something registered in her brain. Cautiously she looked again, assuming she was wrong. She hadn’t been and she quickly yanked open the door searching for her friends.
The girls were coming toward her and she rushed to them. “There’s a naked man in there!”
    “What? Where?” Jenny asked.
“Right in there lying on a chair in front of God and everybody. He’s naked!” she repeated.
“You’re nuts,” Allie told her. She and Jenny hurried on, either to see for themselves or to tease their friend about being wrong. Stepping inside the pool area, Lane discretely nodded toward the man. She hadn’t been wrong. The man lay there in his birthday suit, eyes closed as he dozed.
“Look,” came Jenny’s stunned whisper. A nude woman holding a towel loosely to her front was walking to the grill. Allie, Jenny and Lane felt like gawking interlopers as they turned, bumping into one another in their haste to leave the area.
In the hallway they stopped to stare at one another, not knowing what to say until Allie noticed a framed sign.

The Forest welcomes you to our
Clothing-optional resort. We ask that
our guests respect one another by
following our rules:
1. No public displays of affection.
2. No touching other than hand holding.
3. No cell phones or photography in the pool area.
4. We ask that you be fully clothed in the main dining room
and the lobby.

In other areas, please feel free to wear as much
or as little as you wish.
We hope you enjoy your stay.
The Forest

All three girls read the sign in silence. “Clothing optional,” Lane repeated. “Tell me this doesn’t have Cassie written all over it.”

Cassie is busier than ever with her growing number of grandchildren. And she’s delighted to learn another is on the way, though the news comes from a very unexpected source. Saturday Spankings - More details

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! I would have been here last week but I got a new computer and I couldn’t get word to work for me. You’ll be proud to know I finally got it all figured out myself … eventually. At least I was proud of myself. In my last snippet we found out Allie was pregnant, much to her shock. This snippet from Family on the River takes place two days later.

Allie called Cassie after her appointment with the obstetrician. “Hey Mom, just got out of the doctor’s office. She says everything is fine. Can we get the whole family together for dinner this evening and I can give everyone the details at the same time? That’s easier than fifteen or so different conversations.” Allie’s voice sounded shaky.

“Of course, honey. I’ll clear it with Lily and everyone. Are you sure you and the baby are okay?”

“I’ve started to breathe again, and the doctor says that’s good.” Allie laughed, but it sounded like there was a little hysteria mixed in.

“You sure you don’t want to give me all the details right now?” Cassie asked.

“Tonight’s soon enough. Talk later.”

Cassie loved having all the family together and tonight was no exception. Lily outdid herself on the meal, as usual. Allie was very quiet and ate little, but she looked better than she had a few days ago. Jenny, Lane and Sophie had begun to clear away plates when Allie asked them to wait and to let her tell them about her appointment.

“I’m farther along than I’d guessed.” Turning to Jenny she grinned. “I’m due two weeks after you.”

Everyone cheered and Cassie called out, “That’s wonderful!”

“Is that the way you wanted it, Mom?” Allie asked with heavy sarcasm.

Everyone stopped and studied Allie. “Honey, are you mad at me?” Cassie asked.

“Yes Mom, I’m mad at you. I’m mad that you always, always have to have everything your way.”

“My way? What are you talking about? Of course, I’m delighted you’re having another baby, but didn’t get you pregnant. I haven’t even whispered or teased about you having another one. What do you mean about me always getting my way? And I don’t, by the way.” Cassie finished up feeling just a little hurt.

“Do you remember what you said when I first told you I was pregnant with Christian? You told me you wanted a dozen grandchildren. The idea terrified me and I told you I could give you one or two and you were just going to have to settle. But no, you had to have things your way.”

“I won’t have a dozen,” Cassie answered back. “I have five from Drew and Jackson and three from Jenny and Cal and now I’ll have three from you and Ryan. That’s only eleven, so there.”

A small smile began playing around Allie’s mouth. “It’s twins, Mom. I’m having twins. You get your even dozen.”

Cassie is busier than ever with her growing number of grandchildren. And she’s delighted to learn another is on the way, though the news comes from a very unexpected source.
