I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

I got my play date!

As Windy commented at The Continued Journey Friday, it was like Oprah was giving out play dates this weekend. There hasn’t been much playing going on here lately. Heaven know I hadn’t initiated any lately. There have been many reasons, I even have a blog written all about it that I’m sure I’ll post eventually. I’ve been fine with the lack of action. But Nick, apparently he’s been thinking.

I got the following email –

It occurs to me that in the name of integrity as an author, one should look for opportunities to experience occasionally a touch of what one writes.

Perhaps I may be of assistance.

If you concede this point, even grudgingly, please give this idea proper consideration and respond with your thoughts within 24 hours.

Helpfully yours,

N

I was very surprised. It did catch my interest. I liked that I had twenty-four hours to respond. There were several emails exchanged. We’re empty nesters, there was no rush. We flirted and talked back and forth for a few days… just a little game to let the sexual tension build. It was fun. It was a little like the old days of TTWD. And we did have a wonderful afternoon.

But he wasn’t kidding about the author integrity – he felt I should keep up with what I write about. So I say, Damn you and your zealous use of the hairbrush, Tom Duff!

  1. PK,
I am so glad to hear that Oprah, I mean Nick, delivered the goods. She, I mean Storm, has also delivered the action at our house this weekend, too! Go us! So happy for the flirting between you and Nick. Writing goes something for both of you and it appears to be an effective way for you two to communicate. And the sex helps in that area, too! Speaking of areas.... hope your surface area on your bum was a little pink. :) Hugs, Windy

  2. I am so jealous, green with envy. I think Windy's Oprah skipped our house again. I know that when the hairbrush is used I curse Tom too, ouch!!! Glad you had a fun weekend. You two are awesome!

    1. Maybe next weekend for you. Having not quite all the kids gone is the same as having a houseful. But yeah, that brush is intense.

  6. Sounds like a great weekend! You must have been pretty uncomfortable though . If it’s been awhile, the hairbrush is a killer! Isn’t it amazing how tender we are if we don’t get ‘regular’ attention?

    1. I'm amazed at how a different head space can determine what you can take physically.

    1. Yeah! And I wasn't even wishing for it - not really. Hadn't been in my thoughts lately. But I suppose integrity is as good as anything.
