I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Happy Birthday, PAUL!

Paul, my friend,
You came to my site the first time I ever posted. I told you then that I felt like I had been visited by royalty. I still feel that way every time you come by. I wonder if you have any idea that love and respect I have for you. Your marriage was and is the ideal that we all look to. We see that an old fashion marriage can be just as wonderful as we imagine.

You are unique in our blogging world! Is it any wonder we all love to read your Gratitude Tuesday list? It is another view into the mind and heart of someone we all want to know better. I know we are the ones who should be giving you gifts but I am going to ask one from you to the rest of us. How about a story or two sometimes? I can come up with more than 2 dozen places you could post them and I am not even thinking hard yet. You already give us so much of your time and I know you don’t want to do a blog full time but we will take anything we can get!

I would love to fly across the pond to give you the biggest hug in the world. I wonder how Mel would have felt knowing so many women have such feelings for you. I can picture her laughing and saying “Sorry girls, he’s all mine!”

Happy Birthday!

Elis

  1. Pretty picture PK. You said it well. I too felt so honored the first time Paul commented to me.

    Stories would be great!

  2. Gosh darn, do I ever second this one, Elis!!! I can actually picture Mel grinning from ear-t-ear with a bratty grin and thinking precisely what you said! And Paul, dear heart, why didn't I ever think of such a thing? You have a standing offer to post any stories or any thoughts or anything at all that you want to share on my blog, too, whnever you like!!! I would be so very honored.

Maybe I never thought of it cause I consider even the one-line emails or comments to be rich in meaning and memory... Paul does in fact tell stories all the time, evne by offering snippets and tidbits just to tease us for more...

I love you both, Paul and Elis (and Mel, too, of course as Paul wouldn't be half the man he is were it not for Mel's undying love)!

  3. Dearest Elis, how did you know, that's exactly what Mel is doing.
Mel lives in my heart and spirit, and her love is indeed undying as is mine.
I thank you for your good wishes and will be here as long as I'm allowed.
    Warm hugs,
    Paul.

  5. Elis::

I had the same feeling the first time Paul. left a comment in the Garden. He was so kind. I asked in my reply if he was the Paul. I'd seen commenting only on one other blog at the time. He responded that indeed it was him and I remember how my heart soared to know he'd come to visit. Our friendship was tentative and respectful at first as both of us were new to the blogging community and still learning the ropes. He has been a dear and amazing friend from that very first day.

I agree, it would be wonderful to read an occasional story from him. I find through his comments and lists that I have come to know many things about him. He's a dear and special, special man.

    **Big Hugs**
