I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

My Saturday

My butt hurts!!!

Now normally if I said that I would expect my friends to smile and say ‘Well good for you’. But the thing is I haven’t been spanked in nearly a week. I have a very bad cramp in my left butt cheek and it is getting worse. It hurts to walk and to sit. I haven’t done a thing that I know of to cause it. It started late Friday night just before I went to bed and after tossing and turning for a while I managed to disturb Nick. When he asked what was wrong I told him I had a cramp in my butt and I needed him to massage it. He said “That old ploy huh? Guess where I have a cramp!” But he massage for a while. It’s been about 24 hours and it is still giving me a fit.

Mollie did it! She is a licensed driver and just about as happy a kid as you would ever want to see. Tonight she took the car and drove herself to a party at a local restaurant and then back to her friend’s house to spend the night. She will drive herself home in the morning in time for church. Life as I know it is gone. Sigh…

And you know this is a double edged sword, not only do I have to worry about her going off on her own, we also have to worry about her coming home unexpectedly! LOL! Not exactly comforting for the spanko couple with a temporarily empty nest! At least before we knew she was going to be gone until we went and got her. I think the rule is going to be ‘call when you arrive somewhere and call when you head home’. She doesn’t have to know the WHOLE reason for the rule does she?

  1. PK, a suggestion, take the muffler out of the silencer, you'll be able to hear her a mile away.
My reaction was good for Nick, but having read, it's still good for Nick but unfortunately not for you.
I hope that soon the only pain in the butt is the one you enjoy.
Love and warm hugs and a few extra,

  2. Congrats to Mollie! I don't envy you going through that phase of parenting, I wouldn't want to do it again. Then again, the empty nest is a wonderful thing!

I hope that your pain is gone by the time you read this!

PK, sorry about the pain you are having. Congrats to MOllie, and yes I think calling is a good rule. Your right, she doesn't have to know the whole reason, lol.

  4. I'm sorry you have a sore butt for the wrong reason. Hopefully things are better now.

How's your butt now? Any better yet?

Maybe it has something to do with Mollie getting her license. I mean, that always made me tense and twitch with my kids.

    I'm just sayin'....

  6. :-) Horray she got her licence! Yep Good new rule!:-) For us we'd still be able to hear the car pull up luckily! Bummer on the cramp. Don't know what you do about those! I think after tonight I'll have a sore butt, but not from a cramp!

Daily massages, that's the ticket! Great for Mollie, and great for you - let her run some errands. She'll be thrilled to be driving, and I'm sure you can use the help!

  8. Paul,
LOL I had had the same idea about the muffler. Nick is doing what he can to help my pain.

It's not my favorite part of parenthood but we'll keep plugging alone.

I wonder how long we can keep her calling. We'll keep trying.

    We're working on it.

The butt still hurts but and I am getting tired of it. Having another kid driving is another kind of pain in the butt.

You might hear the car drive up but would you have time to get dressed?? Hope your butt is hurting in the right way soon.

I like the idea of the daily massage. Having Mollie drive herself babysitting will help a lot.

  9. I am sorry about the pain in your...well, you know...I hope the cramp has worked itself out...massage, stretching, and some tlc outta do the trick. :-) And congratulations again to Molly on the driving...I am sure it will be an adjustment for all of you and I am counting on you for pointers when my kiddos get to that stage in 11 years from now... :-) Please take care! Hugs, Terps

A butt cramp... you sure it isn't some sort of muscle pull? That sounds extremely serious. Could impact both health and happiness. ;)

As for Mollie... lol... our son is 15... and we're thinking the butt injury sounds like more fun than seeing him behind the wheel. Not sure how your nerves are surviving this.

  11. Oh honey, the dreaded butt cramp... are you drinking enough water? You're not sitting around with your cheeks clenched or anything are you?

Here's my wish for you:: May Mollie prove to be the driver her brother isn't!

now tell me, what kind of whacky friends do you have that would actually congratulate you on having a sore butt?

  12. Terps,
It still hurts but not quite as much. I will be glad to share any parenting advice provided I survive it all!

    Todd and Suzy,
Mollie driving is a whole different pain in the butt. But she does drive so much better than her brother!

You would not believe my whacky friends! I should be drinking more water but this might me a pinched nerve too. Who know, as long as Nick is willing to massage I'll be alright.
