I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Blizzard!

Just a quick note to my northern friends (Eva, Carye, Debbie, Lori, and even Mthc), you can stop whining about the weather and thinking you have it so bad! It snowed here today. I saw it! I saw 6 maybe 8 flakes! And on my way home from work the temperature dropped to 37! I don’t think we are going to get a snow day out of it however, that takes at least a dozen flakes!! I am really just posting about the weather because I wanted you to know I share your pain.

  6. ROFLMAO means Rolling on floor, laughing my ass off!

PK, you've got more snow that I'll ever see, so I think a snow day is definitely in order. I'm calling your mayor as I type this! Even one snowflake could be dangerous!

    Be safe!

  7. 37 would be a heat wave for us. I think you've only felt a small portion of our pain. We are getting 2 more inches of snow today on top of the 8 we got 2 days ago. *Lori is rolling her eyes at 6 flakes* Geesh!

  8. It's been cold enough at night to snow here... 34 last night... in central FLORIDA!!!! WTF?????!!!!

But no snow... just cold!!!! Wish we would get some of that white fluffy stuff from the sky to make the cold worthwhile!

    Love ya!

Tiggr~ It's not always fluffy. What we got on Tuesday was more like concrete. Heavy and packed tight. Adam and I both had to walk the dog to hold each other up. Everything was icy!! Hate it. Hate it. Hate it.

Have I told you that I hate it?

    Hugs~

  12. 6 FLAKES? Could you handle it??? Wait, you're in the south... probably not!!! Shouldn't you be shutting down the schools and opening emergency warming centers? Hey!! We were warmer than you today!!!! We got up to 42!!!! Of course, tomorrow's high, I won't even mention! (a hint though for the Mathematicians out there.... 3 times it is 45!)

I'm sending you down a snow plow and salt truck! Watch for it!

  13. PS: I happen to know that EVA REALLY LOVES WINTER... as long as it is the day BEFORE Spring :-)

    Carye

PS: Pappa Shrek has invited PK to join him in his job this winter and enjoy trying out a 4 wheeler going through 1 foot snow in 10 below zero temps! Or staying the night out in a tent in that temp!
    What do you think PK?

  14. Reesa,
Surely the south will get one decent snow this winter.

    Eva,
You should give winter a chance. I know you would really love it!

    Paul,
I am still looking for the rangers!

    Debbie,
I don't thing you are taking my snow storm seriously!

    Terpsichore,
Are you getting caught up on the lingo now?

    Grace,
Thank you for your support! Maybe you should go visit Eva some winter. I hear she love winter!

    Lori,
    You lucky duck!

    Tig,
I agree with you! I have never seen snow that wasn't fluffy!

Come on twin be serious. Grace you know she is kidding!

    Mthc,
I did not mean to insult you! Of course Va. is in the south.

    Carye,
Now about this invitation... How are you and Nick going to feel about this? You know after thinking about it I'll just stay here in our nice warm bed!!

37! Yuck!!! We had an ice storm the other day and my car skidded off the road. We were fine but I have to say we have been very lucky. Our winter has been very mild and I am hoping it holds off for another 10 days. I don't care if it snows 10 feet on the 25th but I am praying that we can continue with our unseasonably warm temperatures until after the kids get married on the 24th!

  16. Elizabeth,
I hope it all holds off for you until then. Not only for that day but for everything going on leading up to the wedding! Good luck!!
