I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Our adventure - the short version

I’m home – and I’m not supposed to be on the computer. We’ve had an adventure for sure. We decided to do some sightseeing in Florida before heading off on the cruise. We thought it might be fun to rent scooters. And it was … right up until I crashed into a van in a curve and slid down the street on my leg. Nick heard the crash, he looked back to see me lying in the street. Trying to get back to me someone runs into the street in front of him, he cuts to avoid them goes down, clips his elbow on the curb and dislocated his shoulder.

Nick is taken to the hospital in an ambulance. I followed after the cop takes me back to my car. I’m telling you, it was an adventure! We still made it to the cruise and we had a wonderful time. Not what we were expecting – sex was just not a safe idea with all our injuries. Nick spanking arm was in a sling, sigh…

I went to the doctor as soon as we got home to be checked out and because both my feet are horribly swollen. I’m supposed to be flat on my back with my feet above my heart. Darn hard to type that way.

But they is a good part of this story – Nick and I went on vacation, we both wrecked out scooters, we both walked away from our accidents, we had a lovely cruise, and we spent nearly ever minute together six days – no spanking or sex possible and we still love each other completely.

I’ll be on some – but now I’m going back to put my feet up.

More later.

  10. PK,
both of you, get well soon.
Scooters are not the most stable of vehicles, I never did like them.
However, happy that you both enjoyed the cruise.
    Love and warm hugs,

  20. Ouch. At. 65, I don't heal as well as I did. I stay away from all stuff that can hurt me. Sharp blades. Scooters. Probably should stay out of a car but hard to manage, lol

    Feel better soon. J

    1. I agree, honest I do. I don't try rollerblading or ice skates because I like my bones just the way they are. This seemed pretty simple when I tried it and we would have done fine if everyone else had stayed off the dang roads!

  21. Next time? A quiet and peaceful holiday visiting English friends? LOL!

Seriously - I am so sorry. Those lacerations are simply horrid and must be so sore. I hope you both start to feel better soon and that you both heal quickly.

  22. So glad you weren't hurt anymore than you were. I had a friend who broke her leg falling off a scooter in Bermuda. It took months to heal.
