I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Happy Birthday Nick!

I had ever intention of posting yesterday, but the day definitely got away from me. First things first, today is Nick’s birthday. It’s always a new experience for me when he has a birthday, I’ve never slept with a man this old before. Don’t know if there will be a birthday spanking. I usually take it for him, but his shoulder nearly came out of joint again last night just from turning wrong – so I think spanking is still on hold, pulling ones hand back as you would to deliver a good spank is a no-no for his injury.

Our good friends, that we often travel with, invited us to go out for dinner Saturday night and they had a special place they wanted to take Nick. When we go out with this couple we eat early, we don’t like lines so we often skip lunch and eat between four and five – about the time LJ is getting ready for lunch in New York. The place they had chosen was way up in the mountains, about two hours away so they picked us up at two. We rode, visited, and enjoyed the scenery.

We soon arrived at the place – a wide spot in the road, old looking building that I wouldn’t so much as noticed driving down a country road. They open at four and at twenty till there was quite a crowd gathered to go in.

The food – OMG, the food! It was served country style and we had fried chicken, roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, cream corn, pinto, cabbage, slaw, cornbread salad, mac and cheese, cooked apples, biscuits and cornbread – they kept bringing it as long as we could eat. I had hot fudge cake for dessert, the others had peach or apple cobbler all with ice cream of course. Eventually we staggered from the table and rolled toward the door.

We roamed slowly back down the mountain, stopping here and then for the boys to take some pictures. Around eight thirty we ended up at a mountain lake and waited for the super moon to rise. It didn’t disappoint. The huge moon lay a reflective moon path right across the water. Absolutely beautiful. Finally we headed toward home, we’d had a great day, but it was past bedtime and I knew you wouldn’t mind if I waited and posted today. I’m going to try to get some pictures of our day here – remember, I’m not as good at this as Nick is. But here are a few I took.

Super Moon - best I could do with my phone.

And happy birthday to another good friend,
she knows who she is.

  8. Wishing you Very Many Happy Returns, Nick!

What glorious pictures, PK. I was with you in spirit as you described your day and evening. I know that "lines" are "queues", but there was another word I didn't understand. Can anyone tell me what a "pinto" is? I have never heard of it before.

We also had a huge moon over here in the UK last night. It almost kept us awake it was so bright. It had a rosy glow to it and we refer to moons like that as "harvest moons".

I hope Nick's shoulder heals very quickly and I also hope he is keeping a tab of all the spanks you are missing out on. LOL!

    Many hugs
    Ami

  16. I about died laughing at this line, "I’ve never slept with a man this old before." I read it to my husband and his smart ass response back was, "Watch out, it works both ways." hahhahahhah

Sounds like a perfect day. Glad you enjoyed it. The pictures are beautiful!
