I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

And now about Cassie

You all know that Cassie is one of my favorite topics. I know that there will come a time that I need to move on – at least as a writer and try something else.  I’m torn, I want to try other stories, and I am working on other ideas, but I’ll never abandon Cassie. So here’s what’s happening right now.

There’s a new Cassie book coming out one month from today – Cassie’s Ordeal (no cover yet). There is one more book after this one nearly written. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed writing these two books. I love every single Cassie book, but these two – these two are special. Never before has it been more apparent to me that Cassie was telling the story start to finish, well with a little help from Sue.

If you haven’t ever read any of the Cassie books  - come on join the party, try this new one! They don’t have to be read in order. I think there’s going to be a sale on some of the earlier ones about the time this one comes out. There are three more Cassie books in my head after these two, but I know the series can’t go on forever. If you like Cassie, I hope you’ll tell someone else about her. As long as people are reading I’ll be able to keep publishing them. And meanwhile I’ll be working on a few other books in my head.

    1. Well the good thing for me she will always be in my head. I know she won't live me alone. If she keep talking to me I'll write, but I must try other stories too.

  8. Very exciting! And I always love hearing authors tell me that the story wrote itself, or the character came up with it. That must be such an amazing feeling.

    1. Cassie most definitely writes her own stories. Often I feel like I'm taking diction rather than writing.

  9. I feel as if I am only just getting to know Cassie, and now you say there are only a couple of books left?! How shall I cope?! But so nice for you to say that Cassie virtually wrote them herself. I can't wait to read them!

  10. I think of Cassie as a sort of a matriarch of spanking fiction. You had better be careful, PK. You may think you are finished with Cassie, but I think she has a mind of her own.

I am old enough to remember The Bobbsey Twins and Nancy Drew. Cassie has many more stories to tell.

    1. Ella! You're giving away your age for sure - I remember these too. Were you by chance a Trixie Beldon fan? I loved her. I hope Cassie continues to tell me stories.

  12. I love Cassie and I would love to see her antics continue...I received a lovely compliment a while back that I reminded someone of Cassie...definitely need to check out what she and I have both pulled. ;) I also read my favorite books over and over...that might be part of the reason my TBR list keeps growing so big.

    Hugs and blessings...Cat

    1. I love that you see that as a compliment. I know someone could call me every name in the book, but if they complimented Cassie I would think that they were a fine person.

I love the Cassie stories and have read all the blogs so many of the stories in the books are a repeat of the blogs. Are there some new antics and adventures coming in the new books?
