Almost, almost! Today is the last day of testing. I think
I’m going to survive, maybe. I’ve not had time to blog, read blogs, email my
friends or read and I’m not happy about that. I guess I’ve really had the time,
but school is just draining and I come home – nap – let Mollie cook for me and
then nap again before heading to bed. An exciting life, huh?
But the most important thing is that before I got so busy Patty Devlin suggested I do some casting for the 'fantasy movie' I love dreaming about. I have Cassie Cast all ready to go - with one big exception and I need your help! Please go by HERE, the Blushing Book site, to check out Cassie's cast and to help me cast that one very important person! You can leave your idea there or come back here and tell me. I really would like to know your thoughts.
Oh Pk, I am glad you are nearly there. I have just started invigilating at another school and have three weeks to go. I am bored out of my mind!!!

I wasn't exactly sure what invigilating was so I looked it up - our word for it is proctor and I agree there is nothing in the world more boring! Neither the proctor or the teacher are supposed to have anything to drink, eat, we're not supposed to sit, and I think they would like to add - blink, swallow or breath - it's nuts. I'll hold a good thought for you.
DeleteOne of my daughters is a teacher and, like you, she is exhausted and counting the days to the end of term. I'm counting the days too because it means she will be coming home for a visit. Time drags by but each day brings us closer to the end of the tunnel. Hang on in there!

I know you'll be so happy to see your daughter! I have some pretty intense babysitting for the next 6 school days - but I can handle that as well as anyone.
DeleteSo glad you are almost there PK, hang in there! I love your Cassie cast and will put my thinking cap on.

I really want to know how others see Tom. He's in my head but so hard to pinpoint.
DeleteI can remember counting the days down.....Alan Alda is who I always pictured as Tom.
ReplyDeletehugs abby
I love Alan Alda, but he just seems to mild to be such a firm HOH.
DeleteI love your cast and you know who I like and still like. Tom Selleck
ReplyDeleteI think he's as close as any I know of - and he could pull off the sweet romantic and the stern HOH too.
DeleteI imagine Tom to look like John Slattery, though he's a little young for the part. I like your cast, Ellen Burstyn is perfect for Cassie.
ReplyDeleteRosie
I just went to look at his pictures - he is good, not much too young. Good choice. I love her for Cassie too - when I first saw that picture it just seemed perfect.
DeleteI love your cast, still can't make m mind up on Tom but maybe SG's choice, quite a good one.

I do think it's a good one. He is definitely good choice.
DeleteThere is an actor or model who does the advertisement for Contact Hearing on the television. I do not know his name but he is the perfect Tom.
ReplyDeleteI just went and watched it on Google - wow! He's close! Thanks great choice - wish I knew his name.
DeleteOh I am with you on the count down! I nap often too! I teach summers now though! Boo!
ReplyDeleteI love Sunny's pick for Tom! Yummy!!
Oh yeah, we do what out don't we? I think everyone can agree on Tom Selleck yumminess!
DeleteSo glad I no longer need to do a countdown! Smirk! But glad you are on yours. I used to envy you so much when you broke up a whole month before I did! Now I can smile and get my own back!
ReplyDeleteIt's not difficult to imagine someone to take Tom's part, but difficult to come up with a 'real' actor who looks like the vision in my brain.
Not Clint or Tom S though. Nah.
