I have a busy exciting weekend coming up. It’s been nine
months since I’ve seem my baby boy. Yeah, yeah I know he’s neither a baby nor a
boy, but you moms get it. We were thinking of going to NYC for a short visit
this summer, but I really don’t like traveling there too much. After thinking
about it for a while, we decided that rather than going there we’d send the
boys a couple of tickets and get them to come home.
They jumped at the idea. While they love their adopted city,
they like the idea of getting out of it sometimes too. And this way, Colin gets
to see his parents. So LJ and Colin will be here Wednesday night and stay
through Sunday. Nick is going to miss part of their visit, he already had a
golf weekend planned on this only weekend they could come. But I’m taking
Friday off work so I can spend more time with the boys and Mollie will be here
for the weekend.
With all this going on I’m certainly not going to bug Nick about my email. That will give us both time to think and ponder what might be best for us. It’ll be okay either way – we’ll do TTWD or we won’t. But we’re always going to be together, we love each other and that part of our relationship isn’t going to change.

This post comes straight from your heart.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for you that you get to have all your family together for a change. As time passes and they grow, we see less and less of them. That is what makes times like this more precious. How excited you must feel! I hope you have the most wonderful time.
I also wholeheartedly agree with, and support your final paragraph, especially the last sentence.
Many hugs
Ami
The last paragraph is a forgiven give. Really looking forward to the kids being here.
DeletePK, this made me smile :) You sound so excited and I am so happy for you that you will be spending time together as a family. I hope you all have a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteI love your last paragraph :)

I am excited about seeing all the kids at once. Nine months is just too long to go between visits.
DeleteHave a wonderful time with your family all together! And they will always be our "babies" no matter how old they get. :-) Big hugs

Thank you George. We don't turn in out parent badges when they hit 18 or 21 or 40 - and it's always so much fun to see them.
