I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Saturday Spankings - The final Secret

Welcome to Saturday Spankings. Annie has told Cassie and Sue the story of all she went through at the tender age of fifteen. In today’s snippet from Secrets on the River, Annie realized she can’t run away. She needs her friends and especially her husband. She agrees to come home but there is one more secret to be revealed.

“Did you ever tell your mother or father about the rape?”

“No, I tried to tell my mother one more time, but she said, ‘Augusta, that’s ‘nasty talk.’ I don’t want to hear another word!’ By the time Daddy got home, I was pretending it had never happened. I was so happy to have him back. I could be Annie again. Daddy always called me Annie, but he was the only one. Mother always called me Augusta. I hate that name!”

Cassie was still confused. “But why did you say you murdered someone? You didn’t! Even if the baby died, you didn’t kill it. If… if there were to be charges assuming the baby died, well, I mean with your reputation… a good lawyer can explain you were fifteen and barely in your right mind at the time.”

“But Andy and Lily will still know what I did and they’ll hate me!” Annie began sobbing again.

“They will realize the desperate situation you were in and love you just as much! Won’t you call Andy? Please!” Cassie begged.

“No! I… I can’t tonight. I’m exhausted.”

“Annie, you have no choice. You have to talk to him! He could never hate you no matter what you’ve done. And right now, he’s going out if his mind with worry. Fine, you can wait until tomorrow, but I’m calling Tom. I promised him I’d never run off again and your disappearing act caused me to do just that.”

“Could you just text him—on my spare phone? Just let me have one more night,” Annie pleaded. “I do realize I can’t run away. I can’t survive without Andy and you all. I didn’t last twenty-four hours. I’ll go home with you tomorrow. But I need one more night.”

Reluctantly, Cassie nodded.

“Fine,” Sue growled. “But if you’re thinking about sneaking out on us tonight, I swear I’ll hunt you down and it won’t be pretty!”

“And I’ll help her,” Cassie added.

Annie nodded. “I just want to sleep,” she told them. “With you two here I think I can.”

~~

They all slept until nearly nine the next morning. Cassie got ready quickly and told them, “Call room service and get us some breakfast. Annie, you’re going to eat. I’m going to the lobby and call Tom.”

Cassie wasn’t gone too long. When she came back to them, she seemed completely shaken.

Annie was frightened, “What is it? Is Andy all right?” she asked.

“He’s fine,” Cassie answered automatically, but said no more.

“You look like you’ve seen a ghost,” Sue told her. “What the hell’s going on?”

Cassie took Annie’s hand and gently pulled her to sit beside her on the bed.

“I talked to Tom,” she began, “they got hold of the man who called asking for you. It wasn’t the police, it was a private detective.” She paused, shaking her head in near disbelief.

“Annie, the baby didn’t die.

“You’re a mother. And a grandmother. And a great-grandmother. And they all want to meet you.”

Everyone has secrets, but most don’t have major implications. When Jenny tries to keep her weekend activities from Cal, the repercussions of him finding out land only on her. But some secrets are bigger and more far reaching. You would think that as long as Cassie, Sue and Annie have known each other, surely they could have no real secrets from one another. But you’d be surprised. The full truth behind one secret may never be known, another could change the face of The Landing forever.

From steamy sex to both playful and painful spankings, the people on the river continue to live and love and marvel at all that are learning.
Cassie’s Space series

 Cassie’s Space series

These ten books introduce Cassie. She is my friend and has been since she wandered into my imagination fifty-four years ago. She is married to Tom, the man who loves her in a way that makes my heart nearly burst with happiness for the two of them. He loves her, guides her, protects her and when necessary, spanks the fool out of her. I’ve been told that their adventures are exciting, funny and realistic. Their love-life is passionate and fulfilling – but you’ll hear no graphic details, Cassie is a lady and giving too much detail would not be proper.

Cal’s Law series

Cal and Jenny are one of my younger couple. The spanking in their relationship began mere minutes after they met, and Cal hasn’t let up much since. There relationship has it’s struggles, but these two are meant to be together. They live in the same town as Cassie and Tom and there is a lot of interactions among the character of both series. Jenny is not as reluctant as Cassie to openly discuss her sex life, so you’ll find a little more spice in this series.

On the River series

In this, my latest series, everyone is around – all the characters I’ve grown to love over the years are living on the area of the river that they call The Landing. Their lives, their adventures, even their spankings sometimes intertwine. By this time in the series, I’m just typing as my characters tell me what’s happening. And I love it!

These books do take you through time as it passes, but please don’t think you have to read them in order. Start anywhere. Just grab one and give it a try. If you are a spanking enthusiast, I know you'll enjoy it.

I’ll close today with a review on the latest book. This is one of the finest reviews I’ve ever had.

Starting with the first Cassie book until now, I have never been disappointed or failed to wait expectantly for the next one.

Oh wow! What an unexpected and (hopefully for Annie) wonderful outcome. Somehow I didn't think Annie would be in any trouble. I guess Andy now knows. They need to sit down and have a long talk.
