Welcome to Saturday Spankings and Happy Valentine’s Day! I’m continuing on with snippets from Secrets on the River. Annie had just found out that she has a daughter, a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter. They have spoken by phone and made arrangements to meet soon. Annie is, understandably, a bit tense about the whole thing and Andy decides to help.
Annie and Lily were having what Annie thought was a normal conversation when Lily pulled out a chair and sat down, folding her arms across her ample bosom and refusing to say a word.
Annie waited for a few moments before asking, “What’s the matter?”
Still Lily sat silently. When Andy joined them, he looked curiously at the two women. “What’s going on?” he asked.
Lily suddenly became animated and turned to Andy. “You gonna have to do somethin’!” she began forcefully. “I been lookin’ on the computer for what she should be eatin’ with that ulcer. I went to her doctor’s office and got a list of what’s good for her. But she still won’t hardly eat nothin’ and she wants her coffee but the doctor say that ain’t good for her. I fix her that green tea like they say do, but she won’t drink it!
“Then this mornin’ she starts tellin’ me how to clean and when to clean! Then she tellin’ me how to cook and how much to cook. I reckon when her girl comes she bringin’ fifty to a hunnerd people with her if they gonna eat all she’s plannin’ on. Could you tell her I know how to do my job?”
“Lily! What are you talking about? I was just making some suggestions,” Annie defended herself. “What are you fussing so about?”
Lily crossed her arms again and looked away, having had her say.
“Hmm…” Andy pondered. “Come talk with me, honey,” he beckoned Annie.
Annie followed him to the bedroom. “I don’t know what has gotten into her!” she exclaimed. “I made a few suggestions and she’s off the deep end.”
Andy stepped from the closet where he had been rummaging around. When Annie saw him emerge holding the leather paddle she had brought home years ago, mostly as a joke, she stepped back shaken, exclaiming, “Have you gone crazy too?”
“Someone’s off the deep end and it’s neither me nor Lily. We’re going to have a talk right now.”
Annie found herself across Andy’s lap before she could realize he was serious. “I want my wife back, Annie. You’ve been under enormous stress. I realize that, but something needs to snap you back to the calm, lovely woman we all know and love. My friends say this works and I’m going to find out.”
“Andy, no! You can’t do this!” Annie cried.
Andy had spanked Annie several times over the years. Nothing like Tom often dealt with Cassie, but this wasn’t a completely new experience for either of them. Except it was. Andy was deadly serious. He’d heard from Tom and Steve and even Ryan and Cal how much a ‘stress-relieving’ spanking could work. And Annie needed stress relief!
He spanked right through her shocked protests. He continued to spank as her brief anger flared and still kept on until he felt her body relax and her shouts of ‘no!’ and ‘stop!’ turned to sobs.
Andy laid down the paddle and helped Annie up to sit on his lap. He held her tightly as she continued to cry.
“Let it out, honey. Just let it out. Everything’s okay and you’re going to be fine.”
Annie cried on his shoulder. That really hurt! Why did he do that? she asked herself in bewilderment. But the longer she sat, held firmly in Andy’s arms, the better she felt. It was like a bubble swelling inside her. When it burst, she began feeling a calm she hadn’t felt in months.
Andy patiently continued to hold here, gently rubbing her back. “You feeling better?” he asked.
Annie nodded into his neck, a little embarrassed and not quite ready to look him in the eye. “I want you to remember there is nothing the two of us can’t handle. Especially with the help of Lily and the rest of the family. You don’t have to take it all on your shoulders. You mind Lily on what to eat and drink. Get yourself into bed at a decent hour, too. And relax! You can do this, Annie. I’ve never been one to tell you what to do, but that’s what you can expect for a while. Do you understand me?”
“Yes, sir,” she answered quietly, surprising herself with the unexpected “sir.”
“I’m telling you now Annie, you’d better be listening because I’ll spank you again if I need to. And if I do need to, you won’t be wearing anything.”
These ten books introduce Cassie. She is my friend and has been since she wandered into my imagination fifty-four years ago. She is married to Tom, the man who loves her in a way that makes my heart nearly burst with happiness for the two of them. He loves her, guides her, protects her and when necessary, spanks the fool out of her. I’ve been told that their adventures are exciting, funny and realistic. Their love-life is passionate and fulfilling – but you’ll hear no graphic details, Cassie is a lady and giving too much detail would not be proper.
Cal’s Law series
Cal and Jenny are one of my younger couple. The spanking in their relationship began mere minutes after they met, and Cal hasn’t let up much since. There relationship has it’s struggles, but these two are meant to be together. They live in the same town as Cassie and Tom and there is a lot of interactions among the character of both series. Jenny is not as reluctant as Cassie to openly discuss her sex life, so you’ll find a little more spice in this series.
On the River series
In this, my latest series, everyone is around – all the characters I’ve grown to love over the years are living on the area of the river that they call The Landing. Their lives, their adventures, even their spankings sometimes intertwine. By this time in the series, I’m just typing as my characters tell me what’s happening. And I love it!
I’ll close today with a review on the latest book. This is one of the finest reviews I’ve ever had.
Starting with the first Cassie book until now, I have never been disappointed or failed to wait expectantly for the next one.
And, of course, the links -
