I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Annoying!

There are some creature comforts that are very dear to me. I have a roof over my head, clothes to wear, food to eat and a comfortable bed complete with a warm husband to share it. But we are suddenly devoid of one comfort that I’m really not happy about!! We came home Wednesday afternoon to find that our hot water heater is shot. I do NOT like cold showers! But you hate to knock on your neighbor’s door with your towel in one hand and your rubber duck in the other.

I think it’s a plot. I think Nick’s behind it and it’s an elaborate plan to get me to go to the gym. I don’t like exercising but they do have hot showers so right now the gym is looking pretty good.

  1. Haha! I've done that before! Showering at the gym isn't all that bad, either. What we saved in water paid our membership. I hope you get your hot water back soon!

  2. PK, I'd hate if our boiler went down.
Fortunately our service people are just about half a mile down the road, we wouldn't be long without hot water.
Hope that you get fixed soon.
    Love and warm hugs,
    Paul.

  5. MW,
I went to the gym today for my shower and it was great. I hadn't thought about saving on the water bill.

    Paul,
We're hoping to have it fixed by tomorrow. I sure hope so!

    Mthc,
My sister! You come take the cold shower if you think it's so funny!!

    Grace,
It was a 'yikes' kind of day.

    Rogue,
If we don't get it back soon, well I know where my neighbors keep their key. Hope I don't surprise them!
