I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

I've been around a while

What a strange feeling. This is my blogging anniversary. When I began, I wondered if I’d keep it up for a whole year. Well, I did. And today is twenty years since that first post. I realize few people read here anymore, not that I post that much. Dear Roz always comes by. Ronnie and Hermione are here at times and Shelly and Kathryn are here for Saturday Spankings.

Blogs aren’t big anymore. I don’t think people like to read that much when tic-toc and Instagram are faster and take less energy. But back in the day is was exciting. I met wonderful and amazing friends here. I’m not a traveler by nature; I’m a home body. But the friends I’ve met here were worth traveling for – Nick and I flew to California to meet blogging friends. I’ve traveled to Florida several times, Ohio several time, Nevada several times, Texas, Virginia and I had tickets to Arizona before Covid shut the world down. I’ve had my blogging friends come to stay with me in my home many times they came from California, Oregon, Ohio, Arizona, Texas, Florida and Massachusetts. How many people can say that they made friends like this after the age of fifty?

Another thing blogging gave me was the opportunity to let Cassie out of my head and come to life in my books. I’ll be forever grateful for that too.  My writing career has been a joy to me. And I’m still grateful for every person who drops by to read my snippets on Saturday Spankings or buys my books.

I won’t blog forever. But I still enjoy putting up these snippets and occasionally something else that comes to mind. I’m especially grateful for those who comment, it’s always a joy to know someone stopped by.

  1. I think I have been a silent reader for most of your twenty years, I have made the odd comment over the years.
When I first discovered this community it used to take me up to two hours a day to read all the blogs of the day. Now after twenty years I still look in daily , if lucky there maybe a post for me to read. I used to consider you all my electric friends, even though I was too nervous to make regular comments.
I have never got into Tik-too or Instagram, never been that interested.
I have bought and read and re-read all your Cassie books and thoroughly enjoyed them
I hope you don't go into permanent retirement just yet, as I still enjoy reading about what you and your family get up to.
    Best wishes for the future

    1. Gill, thank you so much for your comment. Like you I remember it taking hours to read and comment everywhere back in the day - when I had two kids at home and worked full time. Now that I have all the time in the world, blogs have mostly drifted away. But I'm still here and will be around for the near future. Mostly thank you for letting me know you are a Cassie fan - that really means a lot.

Hi PK, 20 years, wow! Congratulations on such an awesome milestone!

Blogland was crazy back in the day wasn't it? It did used to take hours daily to read all the posts lol.

I know I haven't posted for years now, but of course I'm still around and visiting. I'm so glad some of my dear friends still post.

I am mostly grateful for the amazing, lasting friendships I have made here and am blessed to be able to count you as one of those friends 😊

    Hugs my friend
    Roz

Yes, as you and Roz said it took a lot of time reading around blogland. I do miss the blogs that have stopped.

  5. Wow! Congratulations on 20 years. That’s fantastic. I hope you and your family are doing well.

It’s fun to reminisce about the days when we’d get thousands of readers and dozens of comments. I still hear from readers occasionally. They want to know whether I still get spanked (I do) and when my blog is coming back (it will definitely be the twelfth of some month).

    Have a great summer. šŸ˜€

    Hugs,
    Bonnie

Wow, 20 years! I think I first found your site and the other one with the Cassie stories in 2010. It was so good to find people writing about the desires that I had kept hidden and felt ashamed of. It is sad that so many blogs have gone. I still come for the Saturday snippets, I confess to being very much a lurker these days. Thank you for all you have given over the 20 years.

    1. Alice, thank you so much for coming by and stopping to speak. I do miss all the old blogs, but it's still good to know that there are others out there like us. I'm pretty much a lurker myself these days. But you're welcome here any time.
