I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Saturday Spankings - It's time!

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! In today’s snippet from Secrets on the River, Allie over eight months pregnant, wants to go out on the boat to feel a cool breeze and to have the feeling of moving fast. She and the ladies, often go down river to a small waterside bar, cut the engine and listen to the music as they drift by.

As Sue got the boat ready to go. She suddenly turned to Allie and said fiercely, “You swear to God you are not going to have this baby on my boat?”

“I do Sue, I promise!” Allie answered.

But the best laid plans...

Allie’s eyes were wide with something between shock and panic.

“What?” Jenny asked.

“I don’t know,” Allie replied, barely above a whisper. “You know I’ve been having Braxton-Hicks contractions for months. They’ve been coming and going all day but, I don’t know. This feels different. It…” Allie’s eyes widened and she squeezed Jenny’s hand painfully. “Shit! That hurt. I think this might be the real thing.”

“Don’t worry,” Jenny told her soothingly. “We’ll start back now, but this is a first baby. You’ve got hours and hours. Don’t panic.”

“Well that’s a comforting thought,” Allie replied sarcastically, still keeping her voice low. “Don’t tell Sue I might be in labor. Just tell her to head home.”

Sue was watching the sudden fluttering around Allie. “Is she alright?”

“Yes!” Cassie nearly shouted. “But let’s get home. Now!”

Sue sprang to action as she noted the look on Cassie’s face and immediately turned the key. Nothing happened. She switched it several times with the same result.

“It won’t start,” she wailed. She leapt from the driver’s seat and turned to the younger girls. “Do something!” she implored.

Lane quickly took Sue’s seat, trying the key herself. Still nothing.

Jenny checked the gas. There was plenty. The looks she and Lane were giving each other were no longer calm and reassuring.

“Honey, are you really in labor?” Cassie demanded.

“No, I don’t think… OWW!” she moaned. As the pain subsided somewhat, she gasped out, “Well, yeah, maybe.”

Cassie felt as if she had been struck by lightning. She had felt nothing but joy and excitement since the moment Allie had announced the pregnancy, but now she was feeling raw terror.

Looking back at the others, Cassie watched both Jenny and Lane flipping switches and trying the key again. Sue was standing as far away from Allie as she could get. She looked as if she were contemplating diving overboard and swimming away from the whole situation.

“Honey, it’s all right. We’ll get hold of Ryan and have him come out in your boat and get you,” Cassie told her, trying to convey a calmness she wasn’t feeling at all.

“I just called him. He’s on his way to the house and I called Ruth, too. Now I need to get there!”

“Wait, I know!” Jenny shouted as she flipped up the seat beside Allie and pulled out a tool. She opened the panel behind the back seat and everyone heard her tapping on something.

“Try the key,” she called to Lane.

When the engine roared to life, Jenny nearly cried with relief.

“Remember?” she looked at Sue. “This happened once before. Steve said the battery connection was loose and he just tapped it back on.”

Sue looked back blankly. “Are you alright?” Lane asked her. Getting no answer, Lane spoke sharply, “Sue, get over here and drive!”

Cassie worried if Sue was going to be able to handle this. She thought of going and sitting near her for support. But that thought had barely gone through her head when she heard Allie gasp.

Everyone was silent, gaping, until Jenny spoke up. “Everything’s okay, your water just broke,” she told her. Cassie was amazed at how steady Jenny’s voice sounded.

Lane rapidly began opening seats and pulling out stacks of towels.

“This… isn’t… right,” Allie gasped. “The contractions aren’t coming and going. They’re…” she paused, closing her eyes, obviously in pain, before going on, “… just getting stronger.”

“I found a first aid kit,” Lane called.

Not counting on much help, Jenny reached for it and popped it open. “Okay, I do need this,” she said enthusiastically.

“I hope you found a damn obstetrician in there,” Sue nearly shouted.

Everyone has secrets, but most don’t have major implications. When Jenny tries to keep her weekend activities from Cal, the repercussions of him finding out land only on her. But some secrets are bigger and more far reaching. You would think that as long as Cassie, Sue and Annie have known each other, surely they could have no real secrets from one another. But you’d be surprised. The full truth behind one secret may never be known, another could change the face of The Landing forever.

From steamy sex to both playful and painful spankings, the people on the river continue to live and love and marvel at all that are learning.
Cassie’s Space series

 Cassie’s Space series

These ten books introduce Cassie. She is my friend and has been since she wandered into my imagination fifty-four years ago. She is married to Tom, the man who loves her in a way that makes my heart nearly burst with happiness for the two of them. He loves her, guides her, protects her and when necessary, spanks the fool out of her. I’ve been told that their adventures are exciting, funny and realistic. Their love-life is passionate and fulfilling – but you’ll hear no graphic details, Cassie is a lady and giving too much detail would not be proper.

Cal’s Law series

Cal and Jenny are one of my younger couple. The spanking in their relationship began mere minutes after they met, and Cal hasn’t let up much since. There relationship has it’s struggles, but these two are meant to be together. They live in the same town as Cassie and Tom and there is a lot of interactions among the character of both series. Jenny is not as reluctant as Cassie to openly discuss her sex life, so you’ll find a little more spice in this series.

On the River series

In this, my latest series, everyone is around – all the characters I’ve grown to love over the years are living on the area of the river that they call The Landing. Their lives, their adventures, even their spankings sometimes intertwine. By this time in the series, I’m just typing as my characters tell me what’s happening. And I love it!

These books do take you through time as it passes, but please don’t think you have to read them in order. Start anywhere. Just grab one and give it a try. If you are a spanking enthusiast, I know you'll enjoy it.

I’ll close today with a review on the latest book. This is one of the finest reviews I’ve ever had.

Starting with the first Cassie book until now, I have never been disappointed or failed to wait expectantly for the next one.
