I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Saturday Spankings - Tom's reaction

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! Next week I’ll be putting up some snippets from my book that just came out, Undercurrents on the River. But for today I’m still in  Cassie’s Conflicts. In last week’s snippet Cassie, Sue and Cassie’s young neighbor rolled Clara’s yard and barely missed being caught. In today’s snipped Cassie and Tom have just had a meeting with Clara and her lawyers where Tom saw the video of Clara slapping Cassie. He is further outraged when Clara calls Cassie a bitch at the meeting. Getting in Clara’s face he tells her exactly what he thinks of her. Later that afternoon, he has calmed down as they visit with Sue and Steve.

Tom and I were on the deck when Sue and Steve were coming back from a walk. They joined us and Sue and I occupied our usual chairs. We sipped our wine as the boys sat at the patio table behind us. I let Tom tell them about the meeting with Clara. I was just so relieved to put everything behind use.

“That woman is incredible, she knows no bounds,” Tom told Steve. I really think she’s nuts and I’m glad they barred her from the club.” Tom chuckled as he continued, “Her latest wild accusation is that the four of us rolled her yard last week.”

“We did what?” Steve asked laughing.

“Last Wednesday night she thinks we snuck out in the middle of the night to toilet paper her trees.” Tom laughed again, “We weren’t even here last Wednesday, we were…” Tom stopped talking. Sue and I hadn’t moved a muscle. I could feel Tom’s eyes boring into me as clearly as if he were using a hot poker.

Slowly he repeated, “We… weren’t… here… last… Wednesday. You and Sue stayed here with Drew and Cameron. Two young teenage boys and that was the night Clara’s yard was TPed.”

Sue and I could have been carved from stone. I wondered who would break the silence. Acting as though Tom were talking to someone else Sue turned to me, “Ryan said I need to get the old growth out of my flower beds and get ready for him to plant my pansies. I’m not sure where all he wants them. Walk down and look over the beds with me will you?”

“Sure, I’ll come look,” I told her as we quickly got to our feet and hurried down the steps, feeling like the hounds of hell were nipping at our heels.

“Hold it right there,” Tom commanded the minute we hit the lawn. We didn’t have a prayer. My heart pounded as all we’d done raced through my head. Tom had told me more times that I cared to count to stay completely away from Clara. We’d drug the children into our foolish, not to mention illegal, activities and I was sure Tom would see TPing someone’s yard in the dead of night as dangerous on many levels. We turned to face Tom. Sue reached quietly to take my hand and we stood united waiting for Tom to continue.

“Cassie Jane, did you actually go to that woman’s home and…”

He stopped talking and I stole a quick glance at him. He was staring at us intently. Abruptly he said, “Never mind, don’t tell me. I don’t want to know.”

Turning back to Steve said, “I think the golf tournament’s still on, lets catch the ending. And they disappeared into the house.

I felt as if I was rooted to the spot. I slowly turned my head to look at Sue. She looked as stunned as I was.

“That has never happened before,” I told her in wonder as we walked slowly toward Sue’s house.

“It was that video,” Sue said at last. “I bet anything it was seeing Clara slap you and then her calling you a bitch. I don’t think he cares what you did to the old biddy.”

“You might be right,” I said in wonder. “But I never would have believed it.”

I was still a bit nervous that night and again the next morning wondering if Tom’s forgiving nature was going to be overcome by his more natural tendencies when it comes to my somewhat illegal activities. But Clara was only mentioned once more. Arthur called to let us know the lawsuit had been dropped. Tom informed me without further comment. I know the term, dodging a bullet and I knew I had truly done that very thing, but this one was so close I’d felt the wind as it whizzed by.

Cassie is one busy lady. The new country club/spa has opened and the whole gang is enjoying all the amenities. That is until a new club member, Clara, begins to ride roughshod over everyone.  The situation worsens until it becomes physical, but even that doesn’t stop it.

Cassie seems to find little conflicts everywhere she turns, but it’s not always her fault. Tom is overprotective about her health, sending Cassie into a tantrum. In addition, a few things happen on the girls’ trip that lands Cassie, as well as the other ladies, in even more hot water.  Through it all Tom is there to love and protect Cassie in his own unique way.

Cassie’s Space series

These ten books introduce Cassie. She is my friend and has been since she wandered into my imagination fifty-four years ago. She is married to Tom, the man who loves her in a way that makes my heart nearly burst with happiness for the two of them. He loves her, guides her, protects her and when necessary, spanks the fool out of her. I’ve been told that their adventures are exciting, funny and realistic. Their love-life is passionate and fulfilling – but you’ll hear no graphic details, Cassie is a lady and giving too much detail would not be proper.

Cal’s Law series

Cal and Jenny are one of my younger couple. The spanking in their relationship began mere minutes after they met, and Cal hasn’t let up much since. There relationship has it’s struggles, but these two are meant to be together. They live in the same town as Cassie and Tom and there is a lot of interactions among the character of both series. Jenny is not as reluctant as Cassie to openly discuss her sex life, so you’ll find a little more spice in this series.

On the River series

In this, my latest series, everyone is around – all the characters I’ve grown to love over the years are living on the area of the river that they call The Landing. Their lives, their adventures, even their spankings sometimes intertwine. By this time in the series, I’m just typing as my characters tell me what’s happening. And I love it!

These books do take you through time as it passes, but please don’t think you have to read them in order. Start anywhere. Just grab one and give it a try. If you are a spanking enthusiast, I know you'll enjoy it.

I’ll close today with a review on the latest book. This is one of the finest reviews I’ve ever had.

Starting with the first Cassie book until now, I have never been disappointed or failed to wait expectantly for the next one.
