I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Saturday Spankings - Cooter's side of the story

Welcome to Saturday Spankings. In today’s snippet from On the River, Cooter, an escaped convict has taken Cassie. Wearing only a thin nightgown she is nearly frozen by the time the small boat takes them to an abandoned gas station up the river. After tossing her a blanket Cooter begins by telling her she was to blame for him getting arrested in the first place.

“That was a bad day, Cooter. I was scared of you and your anger when you burst into the restaurant. But I was also scared for you. I don’t know if you had a plan, but I was so afraid that the police would kill you. I didn’t see any escape for you and that’s what frightened me the most.”

“I could of shot my way out if you hadn’t tricked me!” he roared at her. “I should of shot you and that damn coward sheriff.”

Cassie tried not to flinch away from his shouts. Quietly she said, “There were other policemen there, all over the place. Don’t you realize they would have killed you?”

“What the hell was it to you?” He nearly screamed, stepped closer, and still at full volume he went on. “Ain’t that a better way to die than in some cage, like I been in since then?”

Cassie wanted to answer, but she feared angering him further. They were both silent until Cassie gently asked, “Cooter, have you ever shot anyone?”

“I ain’t no damn coward. I could shoot someone. I could shoot you right now!” he bellowed.

Cassie knew it was true and she also knew that talking was the only chance she had. Somehow, she had to reach him. Still, she waited a few minutes before answering, hoping the quiet would calm him. Speaking a little more firmly she said, “With your skill as a marksman it doesn’t take much bravery to shoot someone. You could do that from across a field. That takes no courage at all. I think that it’s talking to someone like this, one on one. That shows bravery.”

She saw just a little anger leave his face. “Don’t take much guts to talk to an old woman,” he spat out.

“But to the best of my knowledge you’ve never shot anyone. You didn’t kill Lawrence Burton tonight and I know you could have. And think, even though you hurt my Jenny, you didn’t… I know you could have done worse,” Cassie continued.

Cooter glared. “What d’ya mean, your Jenny? You talkin’ ‘bout the sheriff’s woman?”

“Yes, she’s very dear to me. I thank you for not… you know what I mean.”

Cooter’s angry look was back. “I was gonna do her. I figured if I screwed his woman it would serve him right. And I could of done it too. I told you, I ain’t no coward!” he repeated.

Cassie wavered, not knowing what to say to something like this. “What stopped you?” she gently asked.

Cooter turned away and went to stand by the window, looking out into the black night. He didn’t answer and Cassie remained silent too.

Finally, he turned to face her. He looked defeated. “She was cryin’ and beggin’ me not to hurt her. She said, ‘Cassie says you’re a good man.’ But I just wanted her to shut up! I hit her and knocked her down to the floor. She was beggin’ the whole time I was standin’ there, but I didn’t care. ‘Till she said that ‘bout you saying I was a good man. Ain’t nobody else ever said that about me.

“It made me not want to hurt her. But it made me feel like a coward for not goin’ through with what I went there to do,” Cooter admitted.

“And then I knew for sure that I wanted to talk to you again. I always did like talkin’ to you. I’d already decided that ‘fore everythin’ was finished, I’d see you one more time.”

“What do you mean, honey, before everything’s finished? I don’t understand.”

Cooter came to sit on a chair across from the couch. “I ain’t goin’ back to prison,” he began. “Sittin’ and starin’ at nothin’, not able to see outside. It stinks. It’s loud. The food ain’t worth shit and I can’t even buy a soda pop or a bag of chips at the commissary. So, I ain’t goin’ back.

“Can’t run neither,” he continued. “No money, nobody to run to. I’m so big I get noticed everywhere. Got no place to sleep, nothin’ to eat. It’s cold.” Cooter paused and looked up at Cassie. “So, I’m done with it all. But … but, like I said, I wanted to see you again. You the only decent lady I know what ever talked nice to me. You even told people that I was nice. I don’t know no one else like you. I wanted to see somebody that talked like you and made me feel good… peaceful, before I…” Cooter’s voice trailed off.

You’ll find a unique community on the river - dominant men, strong women, intense love and loyal friendships. Most of the couples here live a domestic discipline lifestyle where the husbands are the head of the household. It can’t be said that these ladies always follow their husbands’ lead and the men often have their hands full trying to keep up with their fun-loving and headstrong wives. Spanking is part of their lives, but usually it’s for the sexy fun of it all … usually.

This first book in a new series by PK Corey follows the funny, quirky and romantic escapades of Cassie and her friends, Sue and Annie, as well as the younger generation who are all involved in solving a problem from Cassie’s past.

Cassie’s Space series

These ten books introduce Cassie. She is my friend and has been since she wandered into my imagination fifty-four years ago. She is married to Tom, the man who loves her in a way that makes my heart nearly burst with happiness for the two of them. He loves her, guides her, protects her and when necessary, spanks the fool out of her. I’ve been told that their adventures are exciting, funny and realistic. Their love-life is passionate and fulfilling – but you’ll hear no graphic details, Cassie is a lady and giving too much detail would not be proper.

Cal’s Law series

Cal and Jenny are one of my younger couple. The spanking in their relationship began mere minutes after they met, and Cal hasn’t let up much since. There relationship has it’s struggles, but these two are meant to be together. They live in the same town as Cassie and Tom and there is a lot of interactions among the character of both series. Jenny is not as reluctant as Cassie to openly discuss her sex life, so you’ll find a little more spice in this series.

On the River series

In this, my latest series, everyone is around – all the characters I’ve grown to love over the years are living on the area of the river that they call The Landing. Their lives, their adventures, even their spankings sometimes intertwine. By this time in the series, I’m just typing as my characters tell me what’s happening. And I love it!

These books do take you through time as it passes, but please don’t think you have to read them in order. Start anywhere. Just grab one and give it a try. If you are a spanking enthusiast, I know you'll enjoy it.

I’ll close today with a review on the latest book. This is one of the finest reviews I’ve ever had.

Starting with the first Cassie book until now, I have never been disappointed or failed to wait expectantly for the next one.
