I did what I was supposed to do today. I voted. Unfortunately,
I have the same problem I’ve heard others mention. Even though I’ve voted there
is no way to convince my TV, and the political ads keep coming.
But as I said, I’ve done my part, I’ve voted for the person I'm sure will
be the next president of the United States and it feels good.
Good on you PK, I know you would have made a sensible choice :) Let's hope everyone else does!

Amen! I hope so.
DeleteHooray - now you've done your part and you can only hope everyone else does theirs.
ReplyDeleteEverything's crossed!
DeleteGood for you PK. Now it's just waiting and hoping everyone has made a sensible choice.

I'm holding my breath.
DeleteWay to go, PK! :) Rob and I voted the other day as well! We have our stickers too. :) Felt good to cast our votes- just as you said it above.
ReplyDeleteFingers and toes crossed for sensibility of the masses! I hope that people get out there and get their votes in.
I'll be glad when this election is behind us. I just hope that people remain kind to one another in the process. Many hugs,
<3 Katie
I hope so too. We could sure use some kind after this campaign.
DeleteVoted yesterday as well. In and out in ten minutes no waiting.
ReplyDeleteYep didn't take long and so important.
DeleteI don't understand the American system, even after watching all seven series of the West Wing! I thought polling day was November 8th?
DeleteRosie xx
Rosie, I don't always understand myself. But you're right, Nov. 8th is election day, but many states have early voting. It really cuts down on the crowds.
