I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

I may have to keep him distracted

I think I’ve messed up just a little. As I worked on getting the book ready to send off, (it was accepted), I think I’ve neglected a few other things. It seems that the scale is creeping up slightly.  It was last week, but as Nick pointed out today, I did a really great job distraction him last weekend. He hasn’t quite gotten the grin off his face – but he may also have realized what I was doing.

So funny, we all want that spanking until we don’t. I’m mad at myself. I was riding my bike every day and getting all three rings complete on my Apple watch for two weeks straight, but not so much these last two weeks.

Next week I’m visiting my sister. And, um… we tend to eat when we’re together. We walk a lot too, but I don’t think the scales will be telling a wonderful story when I get back. I think I’m going to have to work on a daily plan. Of course, I’ve thought this before, it’s doing it that’s so tough. Wish me luck.

  1. Wishing you much luck, PK (but tons of fun with your sis). That exercise and eating right train is so easy to fall off of and so tough to get back on, but you can do it! ... nj

    1. Thanks, I'd do nearly anything to lose weight, except eating right and exercising.

    1. I know I'm going to have fun next week. And I won't think about the scales until I get home.

  3. When my sister and I get some time together diet and healthy eating are not part of the plan, we used to try for...a day or two. Maybe if we lived closer and saw each other more often...so my advice..is enjoy! hugs abby

  5. PK, congratulations on getting your book accepted. We're all looking forward to it.

Don't think you'll be able to distract Nick again. Have fun with your sister.

    1. If it passes through his mind again I don't think distraction will work again either.

    1. I have no doubt we'll eat well, but there will be a lot of walking too.

  8. Have a great time with your sister, you can catch up on the dieting later. If Nick’s smiling now I don’t fancy your chances of distracting him next week, though!

    1. This book is about Jenny and Cal. But new people you haven't met are making themselves heard. Cassie's a lady, she doesn't mind letting them have a go.

  10. Why is Meredith not happy about your new book? Oh, maybe she wants to see Cassie? We all do. But the new book will be great too! You need to learn to write as fast as we read! Have fun with your sister. How can you diet and have fun, too? Is it possible? Does Nick buy any excuse?

    1. What a joy that would be - writing as fast as people read! I'll have fun and that means eating.

  11. Yes, we do love our Cassie, but I am quite happy to read a Cal and Jenny any old time. Congrats, PK. Have fun with your Sis. I have a visit to one of mine very soon, and we never shut up the whole time. I also have a sweet niece who I love to spend time with.

Actually, I am hoping Nick gets you focused again very soon! Nothing like a paddle to make you see the light on healthy eating.

Enjoy your trip and visit. Try to eat healthy. As far as distraction goes in our home, well, my wife is a very focused woman. It never works for me. JL
