I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Saturday Spankings - Nothings beats a good wrestling match

Welcome to Saturday Spankings. In today’s snippet from Family on the River, Sophie can sense that Ryder is angry as they walk home from Cassie’s party. Finding out the reason is that Sophie along with the other women on The Landing spent a good deal of the night drooling over Leo’s good looks and he thinks Sophie deservers a good spanking. Sophie is not amused since their relationship doesn’t include discipline in any way. After a brief fuss to get their anger out of the way, they quickly fall into one of their favorite games.

Quick as a cat, Ryder lunged and pulled her onto the bed. And it was on! Sophie squirmed beneath him and managed to regain her feet as she slid from the bed. Turning quickly, she gave Ryder’s bottom a hard smack.

“No fair,” she cried, having only hurt her hand. “Take your clothes off and make this a fair fight.” Sophie loved their all-out wrestling matches. While his size and strength nearly always gave Ryder the ultimate win, Sophie was strong and she knew how to hold her own.

Being a fair fighter, Ryder quickly kicked off his jeans before coming at Sophie again. He managed to get her onto the bed and tried to flip her over to get to her butt. However, Sophie fought him off until he finally straddled her. Holding her shoulders pinned to the bed, he told her, “I’m going to turn you over and spank your ass red.”

Sophie tingled as his words played in her mind. She managed to raise one hand to the spot where he was extremely ticklish. He let go of her shoulders to protect his side and she smacked him with a pillow. Their wrestling match went on for a while longer until Ryder was able to pin her across the foot of the bed. He pulled her sleepshirt up to fully see her beautiful ass and began spanking with enthusiasm.

Sophie twisted and turned trying to get away, but she realized that escape wasn’t possible. She settled down to enjoy the spanking. Ryder finished up with some hard swats to her sit spot before growling at her, “Now scoot on up on the bed.”

She scurried up, turning onto her back. Quickly discarding the rest of their clothes, Ryder was over her. Sophie arched trying to capture him. Hot and extremely aroused from their wrestling match, she finally begged, “Now please.” Ryder plunged in, filling her and making her moan with pleasure. Again and again, he pounded into her. The red-hot pain on her ass and the white-hot man inside her gave Sophie a feeling like no other and she cried out his name as she came a moment before he did. Neither wanted to move and they lay entangled and spent for quite a while.

Ryder rolled to his side of the bed and pulled Sophie to him, loving the feel of her whole body against his. He was nearly asleep when he heard Sophie say quietly, “But that Leo Peoples is sure one fine-looking man.”

Reaching down and squeezing one of her hot sore cheeks, Ryder said, “If I had one ounce of strength left in my body, I’d beat your butt again.” And he fell asleep to the sound of Sophie’s soft laughter.

Cassie is busier than ever with her growing number of grandchildren. And she’s delighted to learn another is on the way, though the news comes from a very unexpected source. Spending time with the grands and working at the shelter home she created takes up much of her time. Even with all this, she manages to sneak in time for a girls’ trip. Both the location of the trip and a chance encounter with an old friend cause Tom’s spanking hand to itch.

When a severely beaten woman shows up at the Shelter, she    inadvertently brings Cassie and Sue into a dangerous situation. Will Cassie be around to welcome this new grandchild?

Family on the River continues the heartwarming and often humorous story of Cassie’s life.

Cassie’s Space series

These ten books introduce Cassie. She is my friend and has been since she wandered into my imagination fifty-four years ago. She is married to Tom, the man who loves her in a way that makes my heart nearly burst with happiness for the two of them. He loves her, guides her, protects her and when necessary, spanks the fool out of her. I’ve been told that their adventures are exciting, funny and realistic. Their love-life is passionate and fulfilling – but you’ll hear no graphic details, Cassie is a lady and giving too much detail would not be proper.

Cal’s Law series

Cal and Jenny are one of my younger couple. The spanking in their relationship began mere minutes after they met, and Cal hasn’t let up much since. There relationship has it’s struggles, but these two are meant to be together. They live in the same town as Cassie and Tom and there is a lot of interactions among the character of both series. Jenny is not as reluctant as Cassie to openly discuss her sex life, so you’ll find a little more spice in this series.

On the River series

In this, my latest series, everyone is around – all the characters I’ve grown to love over the years are living on the area of the river that they call The Landing. Their lives, their adventures, even their spankings sometimes intertwine. By this time in the series, I’m just typing as my characters tell me what’s happening. And I love it!

These books do take you through time as it passes, but please don’t think you have to read them in order. Start anywhere. Just grab one and give it a try. If you are a spanking enthusiast, I know you'll enjoy it.

I’ll close today with a review on the latest book. This is one of the finest reviews I’ve ever had.

Starting with the first Cassie book until now, I have never been disappointed or failed to wait expectantly for the next one.

I'm so happy!

I’m a grandma again! Still no human children in the mix, but this is good too. LJ and Collin adopted two kittens this past weekend. Given their bent toward unusual names maybe it okay that they are staying away from human children. Hamish and Argo are six months old. Hamish is a tabby and Argo a Carmel cream color.

According to my boys, Hamish is sweet and gently and like to be petted on his terms while they have already nicknamed Argo the butterscotch tornado. He seems to want to be into everything and every situation. Collin says he will probably be the reason that they don’t have a Christmas tree this year.

Their other cats each lived to be seventeen years old. I hope these little guys live as long. I know my boys are happy to have cats in their lives again. I don’t know when I’ll see them in person, I have no plans to visit NYC anytime soon. But so far I’m getting lots of pictures.Happy Thanksgiving to everyone this week.

Saturday Spankings - A different type of man

Welcome to Saturday Spankings. In today’s snippet from Family on the River, Lottie and Leo both attended Cassie’s party and began talking. He offered her a ride home and Lottie surprised herself by accepting. She knew that there would be hell to pay if Vince ever found out, but she couldn’t help herself.

Once in the car with Leo, Lottie felt uncomfortable. Leo was nothing like the men she ‘dated’ at work. He was much younger, closer to thirty, than most of the men she accompanied to events who were in their sixties, at least. He was nothing like Vince either. That was a change that felt good. Besides his extreme good looks Lottie sensed a … calmness about him that was very attractive.

“That was a nice bunch of people,” Leo commented. “I’m looking forward to working with Cassie and Lane at the Shelter.”

“I agree. I don’t know them all well, but I’ve known them all slightly. Cassie invited me to come take a tour of the Shelter. What did you think of it?”

“I was really impressed. Seems like Cassie really thought everything out.”

They talked on about the people at The Landing and the Shelter until they reached town. Leo looked over at Lottie and hesitantly said, “It’s not really late, would you like…”

Here it comes, Lottie knew. Would you like a drink, to come back to my place? Why are all men so single-minded?

“…to stop and get a cup of coffee?” Leo finished.

Lottie stared at him.

“You could get decaf if coffee keeps you awake. I’m afraid I drink it all the time.”

“No, no. Coffee’s fine,” Lottie told him with a grin. “I just wasn’t expecting it.”

Leo grinned at her. “I’m really not much of a drinker. Just the occasional beer.” He pulled into the Coffee Cup at the edge of town. They sat outside where they could see the river. “My family’s from Greenville, so I grew up in this area but I’ve been working in Florida for the past five years. I really like being back. What about you?”

“I’m not really sure,” Lottie answered slowly. “I’ve worked all over the country, but in the past few years I lived in Raleigh and I really liked it there. Washington comes with lots of baggage for me. I mean my family is fine, but I always felt judged—all those older brothers you know. It seemed everyone in the family was waiting for me to screw up. I guess I’ll have to wait and see how it all works out.”

They were quiet a moment, then Leo asked, “Are you seeing anyone?” At Lottie’s startled look he went on hurriedly, “I just wondered if you’d like to go to dinner one evening or maybe a movie.”

“I… I’m not seeing anyone. But I don’t go out much.” What the hell am I saying? she asked herself. “I mean I work most nights.”

Leo nodded. “Cassie indicated that I’d be making my own schedule once I get the hang of everything. Maybe we could go to breakfast or lunch sometime.”

“Um… yeah sure, we could try that,” Lottie stammered. “But now I better get back to the hotel.”

Saturday Spankings - Getting to know you

Welcome to Saturday Spankings. With this book I’m not just concentrating on the sex and spankings snippets, but the whole book. I hope you’ll like it. In today’s snippet from Family on the River, Cassie is meeting with a man Cal recommended for the head of her security. Cassie now runs the best women’s shelter in the state and the protection of the women under her care is extremely important to her.

Leo smiled with delight when he first saw Cassie. What a lovely lady was his first thought. Cassie had risen and come from behind the desk as he was ushered in by Lane. She was a petite woman, standing barely five foot two Her hair was a mixture of white and blonde, blending to a champagne color. Her eyes caught his attention. They were a lovely blue but the look in her eyes was what stood out. He had never seen a more welcoming gaze. He could tell in an instant why the women here would love talking with her.

“Leo this is Cassie Duff, our founder. Cassie, this is Leo Peoples.”

“So happy to meet you Mr. Peoples. Please have a seat,” Cassie indicated one of the chairs in front of her desk and she took the other.

Leo couldn’t help grinning in delight. This woman has the smile of an angel, he noted. He took the seat beside Cassie as Lane left.

“I’m happy to meet you,” Cassie began, then hesitated. “Mr. Peoples is something wrong? You look like you’re trying desperately not to laugh. Do I have something on my dress?” she looked down to check for herself.

“Oh, no ma’am! I’m so sorry but you’re just such a surprise. Cal Bennett told me so much about you, but you are not at all what I was expecting.”

Cassie laughed then. “Oh, I don’t even want to imagine how Cal’s described me. What were you expecting? A gunslinger, a heavy drinker, someone unable to get through an introduction without cursing, or just a wild woman in general? Just know that Cal Bennett is not to be taken seriously about most things. I’m surprised his description didn’t scare you off, Mr. Peoples.”

“Mrs. Duff let’s just say you are a delightful surprise. And please, call me Leo.”

“Most people around here just call me Miss Cassie. Let’s not go into what Cal may call me at times. Now, Leo, tell me a little about yourself.” Cassie had read his resume thoroughly, but she preferred hearing from the man himself.

Cassie is busier than ever with her growing number of grandchildren. And she’s delighted to learn another is on the way, though the news comes from a very unexpected source.
