Today is for things you are grateful for and I have a biggie!! For those of you who know my twin Eva, you know that nearly all her thoughts these days are about her beautiful grand baby! Well now she is going to be more preoccupied than ever because there is another grand baby on the way!! Same daughter, so I bet Eva will have enough babysitting in her future to almost satisfy her!
Now for a few other things -
Water – love swimming. Well to be honest I love lying by the pool and only getting in if I get really hot. But sometimes it is good for exercising.
Wind – I love a good wind storm. I don’t want any damage but honestly I love to sit and watch a good storm.
Wooden spoons – one of my favorite departments in a kitchen store. Actually are there any other departments in a kitchen store?
Wallop – there wonderful when you can get them.
Whip – well everyone needs one.
On the see-saw diet plan I was back up this week, two pounds. I weigh on Fridays and we spent most of the weekend getting Mollie ready for camp. Nick says we have to talk about the gain but when you are painting walls, trim, cabinets and furniture sometimes there is never a good stopping point. Maybe sometimes this week.
What else is going on? I did go to our walking park Friday, trying to get in a little exercise. And walking on a nice flat surface I managed to fall down bruising my hand and my hip. I got our pretty lucky though – as Mollie so kindly pointed out. Her comment was “You need to be more careful Mom, at your age you could break a hip!” I’m still trying to decide if I’m picking her up when camp is over.
PS there is a new story at Cassie's Space for those interested.
PK, I like Eva, but this sappiness
ReplyDeletecan be pretty underwhelming!!!
Like the list.
Remind Mollie that one day she will be even older than you, is that even conceivable. LOL
Love and warm hugs,
Paul.
Hey Lady,
ReplyDeleteYou know I walk five miles a day while the weather cooperates. And sometimes I seem to drag my feet. We seem to need to remember to lift them higher. The rubber soles on our newfangled shoes will trip us up every time.
:) P
I hate it when my kids treat me just like I treat my 80 year-old mom!! Meow
ReplyDeletePaul,
ReplyDeleteSappiness??? Confused.
I tell Mollie that all the time.
P,
I guess that's what happened, I am going to pick up my feet more - this falling is NO fun!
Meow,
LOL! I know I have been at both ends of this game.
Don't you just love your kids :).
ReplyDeleteGive Eva my congratulations, wonderful news.
Love.
Ronnie

Glad you didn't hurt yourself to bad. You have way to much painting to do to be on the injured list.=-)
