I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Doctor's orders

Tell me what could possible be better then having the doctor say that your husband should spank you!! But that’s what happened yesterday! Yesterday I saw my rheumatologist. I give this guy a lot of credit. About 2 years ago I was nearly incapacitated by an unusual form of rheumatism for about 4 months. I honestly thought my life was over but when I finally found this doctor he prescribed the right medicine and almost over night I was fine again!!

Not wanting to waste what felt like a second chance at life I hit the computer, typed in spanking, found Bonnie, came out to Nick and the rest, as they say, is history! So back in the doctor’s office the first good news – I had lost 30 pounds since I was there last! The doctor was very pleased. My blood pressure was way better. He said my joints looked great, all good news. Then he looked right at me and “What ever you are doing, keep doing it!” I grinned back and said “You better believe I will!” See, I practical have a prescription for Nick to spank me!! Do you think my insurance company will pay for that new paddle I want from Leather Thorn Paddles?

  1. Hmmmm, not sure your insurance will cover for the new paddle...but I think you should definitely take your doctor's advice and keep doing what your doing...spank...spank...spank...
    :-) Take care, Terpsichore

  3. PK, quick check the accounts, I understand bribing doctors comes very pricey. WEG!!!
Well done girl, I'm sure that Nicks good right arm deserve some of the credit.
My more interesting method of commenting is all down to C C, blame her.
    Love and warm hugs,

PK, that's a bit optimistic on getting the insurance company to pay for a paddle! A little too forward thinking for them. hehehe Actually, they should be spanked.

It is a good thing when whatever is working for you is endorsed by your doctor. So, way to go, PK. You just keep on doing what works! Lucky gal!!!

  5. Good luck with that insurance paddle thing.(WISHFUL THINKING) Ours has decided they don't want to pay for anything. But that's cool to have your dr.encourage you to be "kinky'.

  6. Since I'm going to be stepping back into that world in the near future, I really wanted to share this with you... insurance is just a numbers game. Literally, the codes for visits, equipment and diagnosis are just numbers. Many things can be paid for if the coding is logical.

So, lets think about this. Spanking was prescribed as therapy to alleviate the pain of arthritis and the results have been encouraging and even life changing. I'd say that's successful. Spanking is physical therapy, like "stimulation of the gluteal muscles" now in order for the stimulation to be delivered in an appropriate manner, equipment would be necessary. Doctors and therapists use paddles all the time, therefore the paddle you want falls within the parameters of PT nicely. Is Nick willing to get some basic training as a Physical Therapist so he's qualified to continue your treatments and can bill them?

    Food for thought.

Your doctor sounds like the best!

  7. Any excuse will do! LOL

Can I see that in writing please?

Oh, you need a referral before you can have that therapy.

    Just a little HMO humor!

    HUGS!

  8. PK I used to work for Blue Cross so I am sorry to inform you that they don't cover paddles. But they do frequently reimburse for preventative medicine. So Nick can charge for the spankings, and you can send the receipts on and get your money back!

Wow what a year huh! The know the best part about your weight loss? You have made a lifestyle change. Very few of us manage that one!

Hey put your new shoes on and strut! You deserve it!

    Love you
    Theresa

  9. I haven't been to the dr. since we started spanking but since I was there last for depression, I suspect my dr. is going to say the same thing to me. Good thing he didn't ask you what your are doing, LOL!

Yup, you and Nick keep up the good work.
