I have been thinking about my friend C.C. this week. She is having a fantastic birthday today. I think she is beginning what will be the most exciting and fulfilling year of her life. And that is not just based on her last few fantastic days. I would love to give her a special gift for this birthday. But what do you give some you love yet have never met. I had to think on this.
I decided to I want to tell her how I see her. No one really knows how they are viewed by others. I think we sometimes do better telling our friends what we think of them here in blogland than we do in person. But today to celebrate C.C. birthday I want her to know how I see her.
Now if only I can describe her! Long before I ever saw a picture of her I knew she was beautiful. I always pictured her has tall although Eva and I disagreed on this point. I was right; in fact we call her up and asked! But C.C. has always seemed magical to me. When I first began reading I was thinking “Wow! This woman is incredible!” I never commented at first because I was simply blown away by her intellect and was scared of feeling inadequate in comparison.
But C.C is a combination of so many things. She is as smart as anyone I have ever known. Her talents seem endless business women, mentor, photographer, web designer, counselor, writer and dear friend to name only a few.
So when reading her posts she seems artsy, intellectual, ethereal even and then in her next post she would discuss spanking, blow jobs, odd angles for having sex and some of the all time hottest sexiest stories I ever read….
ROFLMAO! It was like Julie Andrews showing her boos in that movie. It was often a delightful shock!! She was just like us and I loved it! I have gotten to know C.C. pretty well. I have had the privilege of talking with her on the phone and I fully intend to meet her some day. Who wouldn't want to get to know so many women rolled up into one gorgeous package?
C.C. as you begin your exciting year of change I want you to ring every drop of good out of it. I wish for you every dream you have ever had for your life to begin coming true this year. And I want to hear about every exciting bit of it!
Happy Birthday friend,
I love you!

PK, nice one, and so true, she is going to have such a good birthday.
ReplyDeleteThe first time I entered her Garden I was ensorcelled, C C is indeed a veritable 21st century GOOD Circe.
Love and warm hugs,
Paul.
Very nice, PK. Carol is one awesome woman who deserves nothing but the best of all life has to offer.

Oh My Goodness! More birthday wishes, thank you everyone!
ReplyDeletePK, my sweetest friend, how do I respond to your lovely words and gorgeous sentiments other than to ask, couldn't you have found a picture of the cake being held to the left or right or maybe just a few inches higher? *g*
I remember that phone call to resolve the great height debate and the fun we had talking and giggling and getting to know one another even better.
You know we're going to meet. I have my heart set on it.
What an incredible gift you've given me today. You're right, we don't know how we appear to others and I had no idea this is how I appeared to you. Thank you for telling me.
I agree with you about the upcoming year filled with changes and choices. You better believe I'll wring all the best out of every opportunity that comes my way and I'll share every juicy/exciting/titillating/sparkling detail.
I love you!

ps. Paul., I'm going to have to get my dictionary out for this one::
*ensorcelled* and check Wikipedia to see what/who Circe was (dang, my Greek mythology has abandoned me...I hear that the memory is one of the first things to go).
That was very nice PK. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting c.c. yet, but I do want to wish her a wonderful birthday and many, many more to come.
ReplyDeleteHi, PK, this is the nicest birthday post I've ever read! Happy Birthday, CC!
