I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Saturday Spanking

Welcome to everyone enjoying Saturday Spanking snippets. I'm waiting, almost patiently, to see the cover of my first book, Cassie's Space. The book will be out in December and in the meantime I'm using these snippets to introduce you all to Cassie and Tom. These two have been married for decades and have practiced their own version of domestic discipline since before the wedding. In their version, Cassie tries to get away with anything she can while Tom tries to keep her in line with as many trips across his lap as he feels is necessary.

Earlier in the day, of this snippet from a WIP, Tom had given Cassie a spanking she felt was completely unjustified. That afternoon Cassie complained about it to her friends as the men practiced chipping golf balls in the yard. Sue, nearly always on Cassie’s side, commented that Tom need to cool off some. Evidently Cassie agreed.

Do you ever do something and the instant you do, you are stunned by your own actions? That's how I felt almost as soon as I turn the lawn sprinklers on and heard the men bellowing and sprinting for the house. As the drenched men reached the deck, I made a grasp at behaving like any mature woman who was completely justified in going what she had done I blamed Sue.

“I… I… Sue said Tom needed to cool down.” I stammered.

Tom ignores Cassie’s attempt to throw Sue under the bus and leads his reluctant wife to the bedroom for her second spanking of the day.

“Wait!” I whispered in a panic. “Tom you didn’t close the door, close it, close it!” Tom had our suite soundproofed when we redid the house. While I know everyone on the deck was fully aware of what was happening, I still didn’t want them hearing it.

“I wasn’t the only one you just tried to drown.” Tom told me flatly, “Maybe they'd like to hear you get your comeuppance.”

“Owww, Owww! Stop!” I couldn’t help hissing at him. He was spanking fast and hard. I finally managed to throw in a few ‘I’m sorry’ and ‘I won’t ever do it again’ as his finally came to a stop.

Tom seemed to be in a good mood as he helped me to my feet and gave me a big hug. “Cassie, what am I going to do with you? Sometimes I think you’d spit in the devil’s face.”

“I thought I just did.” I told him sourly as I tried to rub the sting away. “You could have shut the door.”

Tom laughed at me, “And you could have behaved yourself. Now you need to apologize to the others. And one more thing," Tom continued before I could argue. “Whatever else you do honey, don’t ever change.”

I hope you’ll check out all the other snippets today. Here’s a list of the others that are participating.

  1. Ahhhh! So loved that snippet! From the beginning where she was stunned about what she just did to when He hugged her and told her to never change.

Love it! It showed her surprise and yet also that she is who she is and, even more importantly, that he loves her that way.

    Great post!

I know it's true love that has kept them together this long.

  2. I totally agree with Thianna. The fact he doesn't want her ever to change shows he loves her just the way she is--mischievous side and all. Great snippet.

    1. Kathryn,
Cassie will always be into mischief, but no he doesn't' want her to change. And even though he's a little hairbrush happy, she wouldn't want him to change either.

You know they say fools rush in... let's just say Cassie doesn't always think things through.

    1. Thanks Tara,
I think Cassie and Tom are different because they are older and have done this a long time. We all usually think of spanking couples as young and hot, these guys are not so young, but just as hot.

She is a ball of fire, and I like the observation that Cassie would "spit in the devil's face." Such a wonderful insight into her character! Beautifully done, PK!

I'm afraid she really would. I'm still amazed at Cassie zest for life.

  8. I love her spunk, that she turned on the sprinklers. It's the kind of thing one would actually love to do on occasion, but wouldn't dare.

That's why I love her so much, she does the things we all want to do - and usually pays the price.

Normally Tom would opt for privacy, but there are a few close friends that know all and in this case he felt it was appropriate.

  10. I had to giggle when Cassie tried to throw Sue under the bus. Nice visual with the drenched men all making for the house.
I loved that the door was open when Tom spanked her. I'm imagining her fretting over that while her bottom takes the heat for her actions.
When he tells her 'don't ever change' I was like 'awwwww' that's love.

    Lovely snippet, very nice teaser.

    1. LA,
Cassis and Sue have a friendship that's lasted nearly a life time. They might occasionally toss one another under that bus, but they would also leap in front of it if the other were truly in danger.

  11. How will we wait until December? This is a great scene and really shows their personalities and relationship.

Of course, I am also partial to the use of the word comeuppance. ;)

I find it a word from a bygone era - but of course Tom is definitely from that era.

Thanks, it's Cassie's wildness is something Tom tries to keep in control - not wipe out, just control.

So glad you did like this in real life. Did you man need to cool down too?

    2. LOL PK...yup, I thought Matthew needed to cool off and didn't figure it would hurt his brothers to cool off a bit either. The differences...I wasn't stunned by my actions and didn't blame anyone else. When Matthew came storming up to the porch and asked me what in the world I thought I was doing, I smirked and remarked that I was just helping to give them cooler heads. Wrong answer!
