I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

post about nothing - trust me

This is an experiment.  I’m just going to start typing and see if there is a post in my fingers.  I’ve felt quiet all week.  There have been a few swats, but no spanking. I feel stuck on weight loss. I keep planning on really getting started and having a good week, but various things just seem to keep getting in the way, mostly me.
My only good partner at work will be gone for the next three days.  I’m not too happy about that.  Megan is the one person at school who can keep me fairly relaxed and stops me from going for the jugular of most of the adults I encounter there.  I will appreciate any emails during the day on Friday, Monday and Tuesday.  Hearing from you normal people will help me stay on an even keel while she’s gone.
Easter Break will be here soon, but it can’t come soon enough for me. As it turns out Nick will be off that week to.  We had thought about going off somewhere, but we finally decided we just didn’t want to. We’re both homebodies. Nick want’s to help his parents put their garden in, now at 88 and 91, I don’t see why they would need help… but you never know.  Not being much of a gardener myself, I’m planning on getting the Cassie book out and dusted off.  I want to spend the summer working on it and hopefully this will give me a jumpstart.
For those of you who worry that you don’t have anything to blog about – I think I’ve just proven that you can post about absolutely nothing.  There is a wonderful Fantasy Friday story coming tomorrow.  And I promise to try and do better the next time I post.

  2. There's no such thing as nothing. It's just life and it's the same for all of us. Please keep blogging nothing.
Here's hoping something will come both our ways! :-)
    Looking forward to your story.

You're right, no matter how interesting spanking is it's only one part of our lives.

  3. PK: You underestimate yourself. It wasn't about nothing. It was about your life and what you are thinking. Feel free to write about nothing in the future. You told us a lot about what you are up to. And good to hear you are doing to dust off the Cassie book. The day it is published will be wonderful for you.

And, remember, Seinfeld made millions doing a show about nothing.

  4. Hi PK, I agree, this wasn't about nothing, it was about you and it's things we want to know - because we're nosey like that LoL. Great to hear you will be dusting off the Cassie book and that you and Nick will get some down time together at Easter.

Looking forward to the story tomorrow.

    Hugs,

Nick says we might even look for cars while we're off. I don't really like car shopping, but I sure am tired of driving a mom-mobile.

Normally I would not think of my day to day life as anything to blog about. But at the same time, I'm very happy and THATS something.

  6. Thank-you PK...this was actually refreshing and just what I needed to read right now...feeling a bit stressed and unable to read much...and as the others said it is not about nothing - it is about your life and it is great to hear from you...hope your vacation comes fast as a blink! I know the vacation will get here eventually, just hope it doesn't pass in a blink! I guess sometimes it's good to read post with deep thought, but sometime it's nice to keep it light.

  9. I thought your nothing was entertaining and I learned how you feel and how your going to miss your friend.
While she is gone should the adults there be afraid that the chains have been removed? LOL

There are a few adults at school who better beware! One day I could handle, but she's going to be gone four! Just hope the boss doesn't walk by on day four - I might not be responsible!

I'll be careful. All my murderous thoughts will remain just thoughts. But should I ever write a murder mystery I'll have several candidates for the victim.

As someone who has long considered killing selected people I work with......I understand.
I sometimes visualize being able to press mute on a remote and render them speechless.

I'm just so lucky to have my room with a door that locks. I don't mind having 27 twelve-year-olds, but the adults can be so annoying.

Content is really good. I and I could care less about what is happing over at your place, honest. You don't even have to tell me - go on, be that way. But just remember - I know where you live!
