I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Come and gone

Well that was fast. LJ and Collin visited and are now back in the big city. It was a whirlwind trip and I don’t feel like I got to see them nearly as much as I thought I would. They were busy much of the time they were here. I think I got to talk to him the most in the car as I was taking him from place to place (I love him but with his record I didn’t want him to drive my car!) But he looked good. He is happy and enthusiastic about his city.

He also has a new job. My boy, the one who never ventured outside when he lived here, is now a park ranger. Don’t ask me to explain I don’t understand. But it’s a park he has been telling us about since he moved there. There are only 16 employees there and believe it or not 4 were roommates in LJ’s house at college over the past 5 years. A 5th employee is the son of Mollie’s old babysitter. LJ has known him for 17 years. This job pays well but he will still have to have another to make ends meet. Starbucks won’t give him enough hours so he’s looking for something else. He’s really happy about the park job but I’m not thrilled about one thing. As the newest employee he is already scheduled for December 24, 25, and 26. Sigh… I knew having him for Christmas was a long shot but I’m still disappointed.

Believe it or not with the boys in and out of the house all weekend and the same with Mollie, Nick did find the time for a tiny bit of spanking. Not much but any attention is welcomed. I gained a pound and a half this past week and Nick wanted to bring it to my attention (like I didn’t already know). Nick and I have both been in a bit of a slump lately. I’m not sure what’s wrong. We’re tired. We’re busy. We don’t always know when we will have privacy. I think we need a tonic. We’ll work on it. And for better or worse I’m sure you’ll be hearing about it.

  4. Paul,
We're in it for the long haul. Ups and downs will come and go. We'll still be here.

    Ronnie,
It was wonderful seeing them! I suspected that he wouldn't be able to be home for Christmas but it's not the end of the world. He'll be home for others.

    Grace,
If I find the tonic I'll be more than glad to share. As for canceling - no way, I love it! The chaos and all. Come on girl, we'll get through it.

  5. PK: Great to see your son doing so well. He's a credit to your parenting skills.

And glad that for better or worse, you will let us know. And hope it is for the better.
