I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Eat healthy

Diet

Exercise

I’m not wild about all this guys. Explain to me why 2 months of moderate dieting and a bit of exercise isn’t enough to lose 20 years of weight gain. Seems reasonable to me! LOL I just couldn’t continue with Weight Watcher – couldn’t, couldn’t - not alone. I blame Nick. Isn’t everyone expected to gain weight after marriage, or at least after 40? Not Nick, his body and weight was perfect the day we married and if anything he has lost a pound or two since then. My mother called him hide-bound, he never gains. Therefore he has left all the weight gain to me and I have done his part.

I know that I’m not doing it right at this time. And I know it’s wrong but I’m doing it anyway. I often skip breakfast. I have a small lunch and often I would just as soon skip supper. I am really eating less than I have in years but I’m certainly not eating healthy. I envy Todd and Suzy it is nice to have someone to diet with. Its not that I don’t have friends here that could stand to lose a pound or two. But no one is ready to try.

I just feel unsettled. Usually when I feel this way, teary, I at least know why. I may not feel like talking about it but at least I know why. But today has me confused. I just do not feel like myself and I’m not able to put my finger on it. I’ll head to the gym tomorrow. Sometimes that helps. I haven’t gained any of my weight back but I have plenty to lose and it doesn’t seem to be in any hurry to leave.

  1. Bless your heart, bless your heart....I know. I have battled my whole life, but stayed in the 120's. Slap me! I dieted my way to fatsville. Pregnancy finally did me in. At 255 I had weight loss surgery. I struggle day in and day out to stay a chubby 150's. Will loves me this way. I talk of diet and he says Nooooooo girl. But diets scare the begebas out of me. Stay clear of them!

Guess I don't have any real good advice....stay active. Also I have learned...eat early eat mid morning, eat lunch have afternoon snack. You (honestly test proven) will be less hungry in the evenings.

Will is eating everytime I talk to him. My son is too thin...eats like a horse.

Baby it is in our genes, and our men love us and our genes.

Take care of you. Feel good about you...Nick obviously does.

And I know you are one sexy damn spanko nymph!

We could do a spanko exercise/diet GF thing...we can meet monthly in South Carolina!!!

    Luv

We are lucky to both be fat... ha. Yes, it does help to have someone to diet with. Especially when it comes to grocery shopping, and going out to eat.

Weight Watchers does offer support, but it can be hard to walk into meetings alone. One of the best things about it through, is the accountability you face each week at the scale. You step on... get your +/- 'score'... and then ~everyone~ asks how you did. It's a motivator.

Blogging how you're doing might help. Just if you lost or gained in a week, and how you did sticking to your plan (which would include not skipping meals! ... naughty girl). And maybe you could get Nick to spank you for poor results? Think he might be willing to help in that way?

Your entire day was upended at work and you fell confused and unsettled? Imagine that!!

The package you come in is a wonderful thing but that's the neat thing here... we all fall in love with each other sight unseen.

I'm with Todd and Suzy ... get back to your weighins/spankings with Nick. If nothing else, you'll have fun!

  4. I gave up on diets a long time ago. I can't be hungary and all diets leave feeling hungary. I am trying to improve my eating habits at the moment because I eat far too much junk but I'm not in it for the weight loss (although I wouldn't exactly complain if I lost some)but rather the health benefits.

George loves me for me and who am I to argue with that.

    Take care,

    Luv,

    Lily.

  5. Stick at it Elis, Weight Watchers does work if you stick at.
Getting Nick to spank for gains, proper hard spanks, and rewards for losses nice rewards like a week of good girls. You never know it might work.
    Warm hugs,
    Paul.

  6. Elis - I have a diet agreement with Brian. Being an insulin pump diabetic, I count carbs. I get 150 a day. Not bad. For every 10 carbs I go over, I get 5 hard swats with the paddle Bad girl spanks. If I lose weight, I get good girl spanks, he uses the furry side. I have similar rules for exercise as well. I must be honest, caught cheating - undetermined # of hard swats! OUCH!! I don't cheat, Bri's no slouch! D :}

Hey ann elizabeth... sounds like you're doing GREAT. But with just 8 pounds to do, and all that working out (which builds muscle)... it will surely go slow. 2 pounds a week is incredible!

And, there is diet popcorn... just 100 calories for a good sized bag. Spray some no calorie 'I cant believe it's no butter' on it... and it tastes pretty good. Not the best snack, but it can easily fit into a diet.

Wow.. I could have written this post, Elis! I did the WW thing but couldn't take the meetings (and they didn't have any way to weigh me with the wheelchair anyway). I get so frustrated. And men seem to be able to lose weight at the drop of a hat - that always drove me nuts with my ex. I work for every pound I lose, and seem to be able to gain just from looking at food.

It's good to give yourself a break now and then. My problem is that I've been giving myself a break for months! Damn.. I hate dieting.

  9. Thereasa,
You make me feel good. I'm not quiting just losing steam a bit. Exactly how does that spanko exercise/diet work?? See you in SC!

    Todd and Suzy and Eva,
I just need a better plan. Nick is willing to help. I know he will.

    Anne Elizabeth,
Sounds like you are doing great! I wish I only had 8 more to go.

    Lily,
I am truly trying to get healthier. I will never be thin again and I don't want to be but I am going to get into health problems if I don't lose some.

    Paul!
From your mouth to Nick's ear!

    Diane, Brian,
It seems like you two have things worked out pretty well. Honesty seems to be the key.

    Suzq,
If my breaks get any longer I am going to get into medical issues.
