I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

I haven't forgotten

You have to know I’m happy about what went on last Friday. Having spanking in my life and the real hope of it continuing makes me very happy. But I know some of you are thinking that I view this as the answer to my problems. I just wanted to assure you that I realize the real struggle is still with my health and my ability to get a grip on my weight.

The spanking gives me excitement back in my life and that can really spark an interest in doing what I should. I’m starting on an exercise program – goal at the moment at least four times a week. I try to hit it as soon as I get home, before I set down. My eating has changed for the better – I’m not saying I’ve landed on a foolproof plan, just that I’m becoming more aware and I’m working on it.

I managed to loose two pounds last week. A wonderful feeling, but I’m not letting it go to my head. Small changes can make a big difference at first. I call it loose weight, you can shift a few pounds at first – it’s getting rid of the fat that is truly attached, the fat that loves you and never wants to leave that is really tough. Ultimate it’s up to who gives up first, the fat or my determination to get rid of it. And I guess just like wondering if  Nick will keep up the spanking, only time will tell.

  1. Hi PK I totally get spanking bringing excitement to your life and sparking interest in doing what you should. Good on you starting on the exercise program and congratulations on the loss! I hope Nick continues to provide motivation :)

    1. Thanks Roz, getting started is always the hardest. I hope the same about Nick.

  2. Bravo PK! It is by far the better way to lose very small amounts of weight each week. You then don't miss it and it doesn't bounce back on straight away if you have a wobble. Around the middle is the most difficult though, and I just can't manage to shift mine! Everywhere else gets skinny (my poor legs) but my middle stays the same! LOL!

    Many hugs

    1. Ami, nothing about me has been 'skinny' for year and years - except my bank account maybe.

    1. Jan, I finally caught my going back to school cold. Exercising isn't coming as easily this week, but I can cut down on my eating.

  7. If Nick doesn't, I will have to have some words with him (as I am sure many others will too). Don't get upset or uptight and make him turn away from you on Friday night. You know, send the wrong signals. Maybe on Thursday night give him a little reminder, like ask him if it is okay if you wear panties during the spanking tomorrow night..... that will gently remind him without being pushy
Congrats on the weight loss. Keep up the good work

    1. He actually told me to ask you all what he should do if I don't keep up my part of the bargain, but I'm not giving out his email!

  9. Great job! Big changes start small. When the changes you've made start to feel normal, then make a few more. It all builds up, in a good way, over time :-)

    1. I think actually starting all this - exercising and trying to eat right caused me to catch cold! It seems to happen every time. But I'm still determined.

  10. Hey PK...nope...did not think you viewed spanking as the be-all/end-all to your weight issues...just an incentive. Congratulations on losing weight! I sure wish I could lose...doesn't seem to matter what I eat or how much I exercise...sooner or later, I will find out what works for my body...I hope. ;)

    Keep up the good work!

    Hugs and Blessings...

  11. Good work on losing two pounds! I laughed about "getting rid of the fat that is truly attached, the fat that loves you and never wants to leave that is really tough." That is so true. I have some fat that truly adores me.

    Take care,
    Meg

  12. Can't the spankings be totally separate from the healthy changes? You and Nick need the connection and happiness that TTWD gives you no matter what. The results for you may be the healthy changes because you're happy. He needs to know that you need attention on Friday no matter what.
