I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

My gift in use

I appreciate those who dropped by yesterday to have a guess about my gift. We had some good guesses. Faerie was the one who guessed the closest - it was for my stationary bike and not a treadmill, but she had the right idea.

And here you see my gift as it was intended to be used!  I can now ride my bike and use this attachable shelf Nick made for my computer. I'm married to a such an inventive fellow!

'First weekend', as Nick calls it, went great.  More details later.

  3. Hi PK, I saw your last post but didn't get a chance to comment. I was waay off on my guess too LoL.

How wonderful and thoughtful of Nick to make this for you. It should certainly add a little more incentive to work out.

    Hugs,

Your husband is a wise man. How does he get you to stop to workout now? It will be the next task .. lol.

Hi PK! :). That's really a great thing that Nick made you! :). I read your post last night and like Roz, didn't have time to comment either, but was thinking about what that could be. I thought it looked like something for a laptop but my mind never went to exercise equipment. :) enjoy!!!

I spend quite a bit of time on our treadmill, and I wouldn't enjoy it as much if I didn't have my iPad on there to read while walking or running. I'm usually bumping around too much to type anything, but it makes a big difference to the experience.

Good luck with your bike riding! :). Sorry about your issues with the curriculum. That sounds very frustrating! Now you can peddle your frustrations out and be entertained as well! Hugs!

    1. Katie,
I don't type on it much but I can play my mindless Facebook games on it and that passes the time pretty well. If I peddled away my frustration I'd weigh maybe a hundred pounds.

  7. Oh yeah, any chance he wants to share the plans he used to make that?

I don't think he had any plans - he's just really good at building anything.

He's made me several things I've just mentioned. I've drawn pictures of things I need at school and before I know it, he's made it.

  13. In future I'll keep my guesses to myself! Still, you now have two things you could use it for.....

And lady, how on earth do you cycle and type at the same time?!

And also, you need to go full bore for ten minutes (a US study says three!) till you feel all your muscles burn, then stop and get off. It speeds up your metabolic rate and you even burn the calories whilst asleep. This is fact not fiction. It has brought my blood sugar down no end! They can't explain it, but it works. (Grinning) I'm full of these little gems PK!

    Many hugs

    1. Ami,
I liked your guess - and it gives me something else I might just ask him to make! I don't try to do much typing, more reading and game playing. But I know you're right. I can slip the shelf off it I want to go hard at it. Then I put it back on if I just want to stretch my legs.

  18. Nick is so cute! My husband is handy like that too. I can't tell you how many gems he's created to make life easier for me. They can be so wonderful...unless it's helping me exercise!
