I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Questions? I have one for Blogger!

Is blogger trying to help us or drive us crazy? The new word verification STINKS! I don’t know if anyone else has problems or not, but I can’t read the darn things! I have to try 4 or 5 times, sometimes, before it takes it. A couple of times I’ve just given up and not left a comment. I feel sure others have done that sometimes too. I took word verification off both my sites, and I know many others of you have too, and I thank you very much!

I appreciate blogger trying to protect me from spam, but it feels like what they are really doing is cutting down on the number of people willing to take the time to comment. Ronnie was the one who told me that you only have to type one of the words, which has helps me some on those blogs who are still using it. I have gotten more spam since I took it off, but 99% of it has been caught by blogger’s spam guard and doesn’t post – although I get them in emails.

Since I keep hearing that March is ‘ask anything’ month, please feel free. I’ll answer any question you may have, although, I can’t imagine that after all this time there is anything I haven’t already told you. But if you are wondering about anything I can tell you, please, ask away.

  1. I completely agree. The Captcha (what the word verification is called) is awful. I also have to refresh several times before being able to read the words. Very frustrating. I removed it from my blog too. And the spam catcher has done a decent job.

  2. It's funny, cause I don't have a problem with it. But I do take a moment and stare at it until the letters come into focus - kind of like those pictures that used to have a different picture in them... Once I see them clearly, they are very easy to read. Weird.

  3. PK, I really have no questions, but then I have been following you for a little while.
I agree with Kitty after a little while it does get easier.
    Love and warm hugs,
    Paul.

  4. The Blogger Help Forum is full of complaints about the new Captcha. I also took word verification off, but I have moderation on for comments older than 14 days. Between that and the spam catcher, I'm pretty safe.

  7. I totally agree with you about Captcha. I hate it and removed it from my site after Spanky clued me
in. Most of the time I can read them but it is still annoying.

  8. I agree! I've been wanting to comment on a few blogs, but my computer doesn't show the word verification image. It just won't load or when it does, I can't read the letters. It's so annoying!

  9. To be honest I don't find it too bad though I have taken word verification off. May have been better had they used numbers.

Can't seem to go back to your older posts so not sure if you have already written about it but - When you came out to Nick, what was the first implement he used to spank you?

Which is Nick's favourite weapon of choice?

    Love,
    Ronnie

  10. Let's band together and spank blogger! Sometimes I can read them, other times I have no idea b/c they make 'em so blurry.

Questions? Forgive me if you've given this information out but how did you and your husband meet? I heard March was Potato Chip (or Crisps in UK) month - so do you like 'em?

I do appreciate you not having the Captcha on. Since I had to get a bifocal lens things like that are very very hard to read. I have found if I take my glasses off and squint I can make out the words. LOL...

So a question, How would you handle it if One of your children found out about TTWD and asked you genuine questions to enhance their love lives?

I don't like Captcha either, but some bloggers like to keep the words. Fwiw, I took them off of my blog, Sweet Surrender. So, feel free to leave a comment;)!

    Love,
    Kitty

  13. I'm really happy that I'm not the only one to have a few problems seeing the words! And thank you for some questions - I'll post the answers after Fantasy Friday this week.
