I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Visiting in Vegas!

Everyone wants to know about our trip. I’m a little lost at what to say. I will say that if Sunny is a serial killer she’s not very good at it. I got clean away and I’m back home with Nick. If she didn’t kill me for the gift of the cane, I think I’m in the clear.

This trip originated as a reward for working on losing weight. We reported to each other as well as a few others. Sometimes it was tough going, but we didn’t do so badly.  Sunny said I could post her picture as long as I didn’t identify which one she was – so I’m not telling.

We did the usual Las Vegas stuff, gambling, drinking, picking up prostitute – no, wait that wasn’t us. We got tattoos, lay out by the pool in our bikinis, and soaked in the hot tub. But don’t worry, before the trip was over we saw the error of our ways and got religion.

Come on, really want did you all expect? We’re two simi-respectable middle-aged women – we talked, and talked, and talked. We talked about writing, we talked about our families, we talked about blogging, about bloggers, about our childhood, our husbands, and many of the same things we all talk about on blogs. How spanking works in our lives, what we want, need, you name it.  In between all this conversation we went to the strip and walked, and walked and walked – finally giving up and grabbing a cab back to the hotel. It was after that that we hit the hot tub and boy did it feel good. (Some probably wouldn’t describe our bathing suits as bikinis – but I’m telling this story.)

We ate well, but we didn’t really over eat, as Nick had warned against, we found a great place when we went downtown. Sunny and the waiter hit it off for sure, I had to watch her the next night when we went back again for soup and dessert.  I loved the down town area – so very tacky and fun! That’s where we got our tattoos.

It really was a great trip – two people who had met on line knowing at first that we had only one interest in common and not one you’d mention to your neighbor. But we had a ball, sharing a room with ease. We never even turned on the TV while we were there. I think, for the most part, neither of us was shocked by the other. I will have to say that when we get old and begin reminiscing about our live and all we’ve done, Sunny’s going to have better stories to tell than I will. Not to worry – I can make up stories at the drop of a hat.

Sunny is the sixth person I've met from the blogs. With this sampling I want to say that we have some of the nicest people in the world blogging in out little corner. Spanko's must be nice people in general. I know the ones I've met are the best!

    2. Cat - all I can say is that there are some STRANGE people in downtown Vegas. They sure made Sunny and I look down right normal.

    1. Jan,
Now I want to hear YOUR Vegas story! As for the tattoo, pictures don't lie - even if I occasionally do. But I did get the tattoo and the kids at school love it.

    1. Paul,
Let's just say we haven't had to use the bail money yet. We're sly you know, the cops could show up when you least expect them.

  9. What a fun adventure. I would be shocked if you two hadn't hit it off. Two great women that I think highly of. So glad that you both had fun. One of these days I will get the nerve up to actually meet a blog friend in person.

    1. Blondie, I promise it's a lovely experience. Sometimes I think we know the people we blog with better than many of our RL friends or even family. We really do share on a deeper level.
