I probably won’t be around much this week. Mollie got home Saturday – she did love the
kitchen, and I love having her home!
This morning I’m headed to the airport to pick up LJ and Colin. On Thursday evening we’re having Nick’s
family for a cookout so that LJ can visit with them. Then Saturday is our family reunion that I
host every year, well for twenty-eight of the last twenty-nine years
anyway. I think there are between twenty-five
and thirty coming. We’ll have folks
coming from six different states one cousin and her husband are traveling 3,000
miles to be here.
So I’ll be busy with family all week. I have no doubt you will survive quite nicely
with out my amazing wit and wisdom out here.
Whether or not I’ll survive without you guys – now that’s another
question. I LOVE my kids and my whole
extended family. I love playing the mom
roll, sister roll, niece roll, and cousin roll – all these rolls are
comfortable and I enjoy them. But when
we don’t have much privacy and I don’t get any chance to read or write, PK
starts to drift away.
But Sunday evening the relatives depart, Mollie heads back
to camp, the reno is finished – a little time to relax, a little time for me
and maybe even some writing? Oh heck no!
The first day of school for teachers is MONDAY, yep, this coming
Monday. I am taking off the first two
teacher days. Monday I’ll be taking the
boys to the airport and Tuesday, well, I need Tuesday for me. And then it’s
back to the grind as the school year takes off.
Don’t forget me and I do plan to have a new Fantasy Friday for you. But for the moment, deep breath and here we
go!
PK,
ReplyDeletehave a wonderful week with the family.

Paul.

ReplyDeletedo not think about school. You will hit the ground running soon enough!
What a wonderful, but very busy week to conclude summer vacation. What? Last week of summer vacation? How can that be, it was only about yesterday that vacation started.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time with Nick, Mollie, LJ, Colin and all of the Families.
Don't let PK and Cassie drift away!
It seems like just a couple weeks ago you said school was over and now here it is starting again.
ReplyDeleteIt seems once the 4th of July comes the summer flies by.
Enjoy your reunion, it is so nice seeing family for happy reasons.
