I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Ode to the Laptop

I have to give a tribute to the laptop computer! Four years ago was the first time I ever mentioned spanking to Nick we had a regular desk top computer down in the basement. I had done some web surfing on spanking but I had to go to the basement and of course the kids wanted to come with me. I worried about the same things Grace talked about some awful image popping up on the screen or even sound effects and always little people (or teenagers) looking over my shoulder. I never found any blogs at that time and some stuff was so awful that I stayed off the computer and everything just died out.

When that computer eventually died, and we decided to replace it, we went with a laptop. Hallelujah!! I am in the room with the family, and I am in my recliner. No one can sneak up behind me and read over my shoulder. I am thrilled my kids love me and want to spend time with me but if we had gotten a regular desk top I would probably never even typed in ‘spanking’ on the search line. Another problem with our old computer was that is I ever forgot to delete the history it was right there for everyone to see. Of course with the new computers even if one of the kids gets on they can’t get to my sittings, my favorites or anything I have written. I can say for me the laptop changed my life. If the opportunity ever presents its self to get a laptop and you have kids at home – go for it!!

  1. My son is the least nosey person I know. He could care less what I am up to. What I am in to for that matter. But we have our own desktops. I did get him a laptop for his birthday, and before Governors Honors. I am insisting (well I am requesting first, then insisting if he says no) that I get to take the laptop to Atlanta for the next few weeks. Otherwise I will be spending endless nights in a hotel room spankless. Well I spend endless nights home now spankless, but at least with the laptop, I can read and write about spanking!

    Dear Elis,

I got a bit worried by your comment and popped over to see what's up (been a tad distracted lately - sorry!). Congrats to your talented son!
You must realise that not every week will be exciting and that you have to work at enjoying the lifestyle. It's exactly the same as working at your relationship(s) - except that ours comes with definite added bonuses!! (And lots of toys and room to explore safely with the man you adore).
So, please take heart and be encouraged by my comment. This woman can't have her cake and eat it too - not all the time, anyway *grins*!
    Big huggggggsssssssss

  3. No laptop Elis, but when I look at my PC and all the room it's takes, I wonder.
    Big hugs,
    Paul.

  4. Hiya Elis,

I was here earlier but Blogger wouldn't let me comment anywhere until now... so I am trying to backtrack. My laptop monitor only works halfway (can't view the bottom half of the already tiny screen, which is unacceptable). Plus, the little guy does his schoolwork on my PC, with me right beside him, of course... so my blogging is a real challenge now. Much moreso than last year when he actually left the house during the day...

But I still wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm getting to know him as I never have and the coolest part is that I am actually learning HOW he learns and even more about where his strengths and interests lie... fascinating!

Keep your chin up, honey. I caught your comment to EVA... you got a spanking and didn't share it on your blog yet? Bad girl... you need another spanking! (Me, too, for exactly the same thing... twice this week, in fact).

By the way, you and Eva have the same number of votes on the game this week... voters are jumping all over the place this week!

    Hugs,
    Tigger

  5. Elis,
I love the fact that you and Eva are both teachers. I feel a kinship! I hope you have a wonderful year. I would love a laptop! But I don't think that Tom would see the need.

    Love ya,
    Cassie

  6. Theresa,
My kids seem to think I have no right to privacy. And in truth I haven't needed much until lately. Oh well.

Grab that laptop and run! I think you might have some interesting things to share!

    Sky,
Somewhere along the way I must have thought everything had to be perfect and exactly the way I wanted it to be every minute. Nick has done wonders in the past 12 hours to adjust my thinking!

    Paul,
I'm telling you it's wonderful! You would love it!

    Tigger,
I think it's great that you enjoy home schooling your son. I taugh both of my kids as they came through my grade at school.

Yes I have more to tell about as soon as I get a minute.

    Cassie,
You can sub for me anytime! I hope your trip was very successful! Details soon please!

    Elis
