I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Please, Call me PK

I’m really not having an identity crisis – I promise I know who I am. I began the blog as Elis, for reasons I’ve never gone into. But I was soon christened PK by a group of warm, wonderful, if somewhat wacky friend.

I’m PK.

Everyone can call me that, I feel much more comfortable with it. I opened my PK Corey blog as my ‘professional’ site – and I can’t even type that without laughing. I don’t exactly feel like a profession writer and probably never will, but it’s nice to have a place to talk nearly exclusively about the book and writing and promoting. It lets me keep this one as it’s always been – just me talking about everything.

If you can go by the other site, PK Corey’s Reading Room today I have up the blurb for Cassie’s Space.  And if you have a blog and you’re willing I’d appreciate a link to the new site. Please let me know if you’d like to be linked over there.

  1. Hi PK, just been over to your other site and read the blurb. Love it and very much looking forward to the release.

I see my blog is linked on both your sites :)

    Hugs,

    1. Hey Roz,
I don't have much traffic there except on Saturdays. I appreciate you going by.

  2. Hey PK...will be happy to just call you PK...was getting confused and kept calling you the wrong name on the wrong site!

Sorry...I don't have a blog roll on my blog or I would add your new site. If you want to link my blog over there, that's fine...if you'd rather not since I'm not a writer, that's fine also. Your choice. LOL

    Blessings...

    1. Cat,
Being a teacher I answer to most anything. I honestly don't know what I want over there. All the writers seem very kind, but I still don't feel like I know them very well.

  3. I've always known you as PK and for a while there I got a little confused about the use of "Elis" floating about. I get it now :)

    1. Fondles,
I started off that way - but by the end of my first year I had been rechristened. Elis seems like a stranger.

  4. Hi PK
Sympathise with identity confusion. I have three blogs: private in my real name, my DF blog and my author one. I ended up installing three different browsers for each gmail account so I didn't have to keep logging in and out, getting confused!
Off to read a blurb :-)

    2. DF,
I did the same thing, trying to avoid confusing myself - doesn't always work. I'm with Jan, do we know about your author one?

I really don't mind what you are called, as long as you stay as wonderful as you are. LOL!!!

What's that old saying, "You can call me anything as long as you don't call me late for diner."

  6. Oh, thank goodness! I was worried I might accidentally say PK when it should be Elis. :)

    1. Rogue,
If I'd been too worried I'd have changed it to something way different. IF I ever let my real life friends know about the writing blog I didn't necessarily want them coming here. I realize now that if anyone cares enough to look they could find me. I just don't really care any more. If they like it they'll read if they don't like it, too bad for them.

  9. Thank goodness for that! I shall always think of you as PK!

Although that naturally leads me to conjecture what PK could stand for...

Pure Kersey (a coarse woollen cloth from a village near me), Pink Kitten (you got fed up with your hair colour), or even a Pampered Kangaroo (someone who doesn't need to do the ironing!).

We are now, of course, going to have to address the little problem of Leigh aka Sunny! Hmmm.........

I emailed you the link and I put it below for George. I wanted a name that sounded feminine and sexy - Oh well…

Yeah, lets get onto Sunny/Leigh, oh… I think I like that: Sunny Leigh

    2. Jan,
You are talking to the LEAST techie person in all of blogland. When CeeCi made my blogs for me she pointed out the little tool symbol at the bottom of my blogroll I click on that and it give me a place I can paste a link to add it to my roll. I'd like as much exposure for that site as possible. But I wonder if it will ever feel as much like home as this one.

Bad grammar? Thank heavens I'm not the only one who is plagues - I'm always thinking it correctly, but my keyboard has a mind of it's own.
