Almost perfect - except for the damn cane!

To be perfectly honest there is very little spanking going on here these days. We’re doing just fine. I’m not all bent out of shape about it or anything, and there is some occasionally, it’s just not our focus at the moment. I haven’t been pushing it much at all. I’m worrying about the final edits and detail of getting the book out and that consumes much of my thought.

I’ll admit it’s also taken my mind off much thoughts of dieting. I still record my weight in Nick’s book weekly, but I stopped reporting to a few close friends here as we had been doing. Not that they would be down on me at all, but for whatever reason I stopped. Mostly I’m staying the same – not where I want to be, but not going up by much.

I’m afraid that ‘not much’ wasn’t good enough for Nick. Now while I know this would be a disaster in many marriages, it’s good for ours. I don’t see it as Nick complaining because I gained, I see it as him giving me the attention I asked for in monitoring my weight. And I got attention since I did post the highest I’ve been in nearly two years. I got an email from Nick Friday that read in part,

For now consider the immediate options for me to perhaps consider:

Medium intensity for a longer period vs. harder and briefer.

Also, get it over today before we visit Mollie tonight (separate from anything you have planned later for First Weekend) ....or postpone to tomorrow while you ponder your actions and their consequences.

Hmmm… several interesting questions here, medium for a longer time or harder for a shorter time and of course, when. I chose harder and briefer and before we went to see Mollie.

WOW! He was not kidding about the harder! Now I'm comfortable with anything that smacks of discipline at all, be done over clothing, Nick didn’t seem interested in my comfort. He used the OCW – seen above on my masthead, the strap – 14 inches long, 4 wide, leather with holes. And he was cutting me no slack. OWWWW!

But then he brought out the cane. Ronnie, please email Nick that you need this damn thing back. I’ll be happy to toss it in the nearest creek, surely it will eventually make its way to the Atlantic and across the pond to you.

On the ride to Mollie’s I was sitting on a very sore, stinging bottom – the sting coming from the cane strokes and very one sided. If he’s going to use the darn thing he needs to change sides. To be perfectly honest, I hate and despise that cane when he’s using it, but the after effects can’t be beat. I love having marks. They make me happy.

I’d be healthier if I lost fifty pounds, but losing only four would take me from a horrible weigh to merely a bad weight. Why can’t I seem to do it? I hope Nick continues to hold the line and not let me continue to creep up.

I’m still in charge of First Weekend – that is planning some nice sexy activity for us. I usually try to plan something pretty much for him, but I was selfish this week and asked for a full body massage (I’ve really been at the computer too long) a little spanking for circulation and then – whatever happened, happened. It was so very nice, massage, spanking, a little Hitachi and my wonderful Nick as we danced the afternoon away. Happy woman here.

And now that it’s November – hang onto your hats! Coming up, LOL Day, LJ and Collin’s wedding, Thanksgiving, Cassie’s Space coming out, Christmas (and the boys will be here for that). Looks like the first of the year before I catch my breath, but all these things bring me great excitement and happiness. Best of all I’m sharing them all with Nick!

Hi PK, I'm glad Nick is helping you with your weight loss goal. Wow, such tough choices! I think I'd had a hard time deciding, although, I don't usually get a choice :) Ouch! I'm with you on the cane. Hate it at the time but like the after affects.

Massage, spanking, Hitachi :) and dancing ... sounds like a wonderful afternoon - sigh. Boy, what a busy time you have coming up! Wishing you the best with the final edits and getting ready for the book launch. Can't wait!

The massage etc.....sounds perfect. Good for you on the after effects of that cane. For me I think I will stick with anything other than a cane!
Well not anything!
You have so many wonderful things to look forward to in the next few months!

WOW,that was not exactly a "gentle" re-introduction. I am with you on the cane....even when it is for play it is my least favorite.....but the sitting on a stripped bottom...almost makes up for it! Sounds like a very busy...and happy sure to not stress (ha least try), and enjoy the moments.
hugs abby

How nice is that?

No canes here - they are detrimental to my health, or should I say my bottoms health.

Nothing beats the after effect of a caning.

Can't wait to hear about the wedding.

Good to hear he is paying attention to your weight loss. And with all the exciting things coming up, hope he finds time for a spanking or two.

It was a wonderful afternoon. And today the edits have been sent and now I wait again. Hurry up and wait is not my favorite thing to do.

Yep the cane is horrible.

Nick was great, but I will always hate the cane, effective or not.

I worried about being in charge of first weekend, but I think it's worked out pretty well.

Ronnie sent me TWO! I believe in sharing the love, how about I send one to you and one to Sunny?

There is nothing gentle about the cane, nothing. My stress comes from traveling to NYC - I'm excited about the wedding, but not the traveling.

I know he want's to help - I'm glad he's not giving up.

Read my comment to Minelle. I think I've found the solution to my problem.

The after effects are fine - the caning is horrible! I'm looking forward to telling you all about it.

Thanks Katie,
It was a good weekend. I'm looking forward to the wedding, but I'm also ready for it to be over.

He cares, I know that. I think we'll find time for a few.

I am just glad you are sending the canes to Minelle and Sunny and not to me! :-) LOL I am glad that you are continuing your monthly date night plans - it sounds like a lovely afternoon. And I am glad that hubby is following through with supporting you on your weight loss goal. I do understand the challenges of trying to lose weight- I have been feeling discouraged about weight lately too - and am too afraid to step on the scale at the moment. So you start fresh and keep on trying...or in your case I guess you get striped :-) Hugs

Hey do have quite a bit going on between now and the first of the year!

Sending lots of positive thoughts for the final edits and book launch. I am so excited that last time I commented, I skipped a whole month! Can ya tell I just can't wait? LOL

I do believe you should send one cane to Minelle's Scotsman and the other to Sunny's Ray...that way, you can make sure they get them! ;) *snicker*

Wishing you and Nick lots of fun with all your upcoming family activities!

Hugs and Blessings...

I have no doubt Ronnie could get her hands on another - stripes do seem to help a little.

I don't like having all these things coming up - I like just being home and having nice memories of all these things! I need to get the Scotsman address. Watch out Sunny, I do know how to get in touch with Ray.
