I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

All about Nick

I saw this over at Hermione’s and thought it was interesting for us to talk about our men.  So I thought I’d give it a try.

1. He's sitting in front of the TV, what is on the screen? He watches a few comedies, and he loves Amazing Race and the Following, but I won’t want those with him.

2. You're out to eat; what kind of dressing does he get on his salad? Italian, but not creamy!

3. The most striking thing about his physical appearance? I think he has a beautiful mouth.

4. You go out to eat and have a drink; what does he order? Most anything Mexican and a Dos Equis (he’s really the most interesting man in the world)

5. Where did he go to high school? Across town from where I went.

6. What size shoe does he wear? I asked him and he said you didn’t need to know that much. (He doesn't mind that you know he spanks his wife and many of our sex toys and interests, but his shoe size is private.  Men!)

7. If he were to collect anything, what would it be? He would never collect anything.

8. What is his favorite type of sandwich? Most anything – no mayo!

9. What would he eat every day if he could? Probably not.

10. What is his favorite cereal? I think he mixes a lot of cereals together.

11. What would he never wear? A bright red, silky shirt my sister gave him once.

12. What is his favorite sports team? He likes his college team the best; he’s not much for professional teams.

13.Who did he vote for? Ah… that’s private.

14. Who is his best friend? M, best man at our wedding.

15. What is something you do that he wishes you wouldn't do? I stay up too late and don’t take real good care of my health.

16. What is his heritage? He’s just a good ‘ol southern boy.

17. You bake him a cake for his birthday; what kind? His mom or his sister usually makes a coconut cake for him – I don’t cook.

18. Did he play sports in high school? Golf

19. What could he spend hours doing? He likes to golf, he reads, he like to stay busy

20. What is one unique talent he has? When I went back to college, taking math course, I would read out a difficult equation.  He could tell me the answer before I could finish writing it down – it was very annoying.

  1. So interesting that he is OK with you talking about spanking but not his shoe size.

But you were so lucky to find each other.

Yours is a wonderful love story.

I do feel very lucky. Bas (below) is exactly right about the shoe size question.

  2. PK,
Q20 answer, isn't that what husbands are for. LOL
    Love and warm hugs,

    1. Paul,
It is. He could do that, and LJ can too. Sadly Mollie and I didn't get it. We can find the correct answer, but we have to work for it.

  3. Hey PK, this is a great meme, It's great to learn a little more about Nick.

It is funny that he doesn't mind us knowing he spanks you but won't tell us his shoe size LoL

A maths whiz eh? Maths is definitely not my thing. I have always struggled with it and still do.

I taught math for 23 years but he can still beat me to the answer every time.

  4. When I am not on all my no carb crazes, I love mixing several different cereals- YUM.
I am terrible at complicated math and my Scotsman is really good at that too.
Isn't it strange what they get embarrassed about or consider private?
    Fun!

    1. Minelle,
I really just think he thought the question was silly. Sometimes boys just won't play along.

  5. Does the reason he doesn't want to share his shoe size have anything to do with that old wife's tale about feet and hand size??? ;) (lol)
It's fun to hear a little more about the "other half." Thanks for sharing.

    1. Faerie,
My mother bought my dad's clothes and told him what to wear every day. I was determine I would never be that way. I really have never thought about his shoe size, I doubt he knows mine, but he did correctly guess my bra size... maybe he notices some things!

  10. When I give an answer like that shoe size, it just means: "I haven't the faintest idea what my shoe size is, and if you think I am going to stop watching my TV comedy, just to look up that silly shoe size: Think again!"

    1. Bas,
You hit the answer on the head! Are you sure you and Nick weren't separated at birth? You two are so very much alike.

  11. What a good meme, but did you know all the answers, or did you personally ask Nick? Might there have been two different answers to some questions?

I haven't the faintest idea what a Dos Equis is, but it sounds intriguing!

The maths genius thing is scary. Why are so many men so brilliant at maths? It's definitely not my forte!

  15. Ooh, my husband was the same way when I went to college. And it really is totally infuriating. No matter how badly you want to solve it lol.
