I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Things are piling up… thank goodness

I have not dropped off the face of the earth, I’m just in a different mode. With Mollie here I definitely switch from PK – sexy wife in search of spankings, into mommy mode. I love being a mom and I love having her here, it’s just different.  Also we’ve all been flirting with getting sick. Several of the extended family have the flu and bronchitis and I feel fortunate that we aren't feeling that bad, but we’re not feeling our best.

We also haven’t officially had Christmas yet. The boys are coming in on the sixth of January and we’ll have ‘Christmas’ on the seventh. Nick, Mollie and I each opened one gift from one another on Christmas morning and Mollie gave me exactly what I’d ask for. She has begun drawing on her ipad and she is really good!  She went to Snapfish to create me a book of her drawings. I think they are fantastic! I’ll share some soon. We did get to see my sister and her family. She also had a fantastic gift for me, which will soon be hanging on the wall of my writing room. How do you like it?

Spanking has not been forgotten in our house. Nick says they are piling up. We haven’t even gotten to do my birthday spanking yet, then he tell me we’ll have to get caught up on our Fridays and ummm… maybe I have smarted off a few time when I knew I could get away with it. Anyway every now and then Nick will make a gesture of things stacking up. When the kids are here and gone and we’re all well again I may have more to write about than I want to.

  1. Your sister's gift is lovely PK and it will look great hanging in your writing room. Looking forward to seeing Mollie's drawings. Oh my...spankings piling up are they? Will be interested in hearing what happens after everything settles down and the house body count is down to two. ;)

    Hugs and Blessings...

    1. Mollie is going off for New Years Eve and day - I had high hopes, but I don't think either of us will feel up to it. But nothing will spoil by waiting.

  4. such a great gift.
Mode wise, I'm in a similar situation here, not fully immersed in blogging, distracted by kids and sorting out ailments (Not mine). I'm hoping I'm owed lots of spankings!
    Enjoy your 'orthodox' Xmas ☺

    1. DF,
Mollie's book is great! Going back and forth between mom and wife can be confusing, but I love both jobs.

  5. PK I am so happy for you. The gift from your sister is fabulous and will look wonderful on your wall. Also, what a great present from Mollie! It would be so nice to see some of her work. Perhaps we could show each other our daughter's artwork? I also noticed your beautiful quilt! I am working hard on THREE at the moment! You are so lucky - I wish I had a writing room instead of just inside the porch! LOL!

I hope all your family are feeling better, including you if you have been a bit 'crook'. We have all been sick over Christmas hence my long silences. I so hate sickness bugs. Dan is up today at last after being sick since Sunday morning. Roll on the New Year.

And whilst I am about it - Dan and I wish you both a Very Happy New Year and lots of good health and happy times.

    Hugs

    1. Ami, I'd love to see your daughter's work. The quilt was a gift from a friend several years ago. I love quilts, but I can't sew a stitch.

Cold is worse at the moment, but it's still just a cold. Hope we'll all be well by the time the boys get here.

I really hope you all have a fantastic New Year too!

  8. oh my gosh, that is a beautiful gift from your sister. And the gift from Molllie is wonderful. Those are my favorite kind of gifts. So thoughtful. It's kind of nice to be able to celebrate Christmas when you want because you don't have little kids at home. I totally understand the different modes of one's self. I feel like giving you a big hug - happy birthday, merry Christmas, and Happy New Year.

    1. I feel the hug Blondie, I love being mom, and I love being PK but it's harder to blend the two since we had a good taste of the empty nest

I hope you and your family have a wonderful New Year!

  11. My kids are going through some very rough patches, one with significant and chronic mental health conditions and the other with ... arrgh. Not here. I worry what I could have, should have, done differently, all the time.

PK, many thanks for hosting this blog, sharing parts of your life and for writing creatively. As a reader I greatly appreciate the first and third. As a person the second is most important. Thank you. I wish you a safe and healthy year, filled with awesome writing. Jon

What wonderful and creative gifts your received, PK! Those are the best, aren't they? Glad that you had a nice Christmas. I know that you must be so looking forward to your second Christmas with the boys around! Enjoy!

Sounds like some good spanky fun coming your way when the kids clear out! Don't make the pile too high- that could be a whole lot of ouching! Unless of course you would find that very fun. Then go ahead! LOL! Good for Nick- keeping you on your toes, Lady! :)

Many hugs and love and wishing you all a wonderful 2015, filled with all good things!
