We had a great Thanksgiving. I love having Mollie here and
we were able to keep her from cooking too much. I don’t think I lost any this
week, but I really don’t think I gained either. Nick paid attention to when
Mollie was going to be away and he didn’t forget our Friday get together and he
even threw in a Sunday afternoon bonus. I think we’re doing okay.
I put out an invitation over the last week or so to try to
get my silent readers to come and visit more in comments I’ve been able to talk
to a few and I think that’s great! But
it did point out to me one of my greatest shortcomings in my blogging, and
that’s finding new blogs as they come out. I spend way too much time on the
computer. I keep up with friends on Facebook, I read blogs, I write blogs, I write
the books when I get the time and on top of that, I have a wicked candy crush
addition. So it seems that I don’t have time to go looking for new blogs, but I
appreciate others telling me about them. I want to tell you about three today.
George’s Hanger – I have gotten to know George in the best
way ever. He sent me a Fantasy Friday story, a wonderful story that will be up
this coming Friday. I have an
introduction from him that goes with the story. On his blog he says of himself
- I am 63 years
old and have been married to the same wonderful woman for 38 years. I have
two beautiful daughters that are the light of my life.
Clara’s Wish – I don’t know Clara
well yet, I hope to learn more as I continue to read her blog. I know her love
is Luke and they are learning their way though this whole DD thing, just as
most of us are.
My Sir, My Forever Love – the blog of Annabelle Smith is another
blogger who was kind enough to contact me. On her site she introduces herself
as – A long time
married women to my forever love. Taking the journey of my lifetime, exploring
and learning the true meaning of submission so that I may honor the man who has
given me his all. Sharing the trials and tribulations as we incorporate
domestic discipline into our lifestyle.
I don’t know these three bloggers
well, but I do hope to know them better. I know many of you already read these
blogs and are frequently commenters. But if they are new to you like me I hope
you’ll go by and leave a comment to let them know that we really are as
welcoming a community as I think we are.
Hi PK, I agree it is hard to find new bloggers, I have just tracked Clara down and already know Annabelle. I find myself going to Ronnie's and then nipping through her reading list, she definitely knows the most interesting people! I am glad you had a good thanksgiving, this must be the hardest time of year to lose weight, I only have to think about a mince pie and oops there is an extra pound!
ReplyDeletelove Jan,xx
I think every time of year is hard. Ronnie does seem to be able to find some interesting people.
DeleteHi PK, glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that Nick didn't forget your Friday date and gave you a bonus as well :)
ReplyDeleteI too have trouble finding, and keeping up with new bloggers. Thank you for the links. I am familiar with George and Clara and will now visit Annabelle.
Hugs
Roz
Nick has been really good at not forgetting. I just don't have time to look and now you can't just click on the name and go to the blogs like I used to. Google seems to have messed that up.
DeleteGreat to hear you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the links to these new bloggers. I've been thinking about new blogs recently as well.
Love,
Ronnie
xx
I liked what you and I talked about : ) !
DeletePK, thank you! You know one of the first things I read on your blog was ages ago and you were describing looking up the work spanking in a dictionary. I read it a second time and said, "that's me, I've done that!" Putting it in a Google search brings it to a whole other level, lol. Then I was terrified someone would know I had done that. I'm so happy to be finally getting around and getting to "know" people. I still get nervous I'll sound ridiculous in my writing but I so want to know other people who get this whole thing. Can't wait to hear George's story. I've thought of giving it a shot a couple of times. Especially, when Minelle puts those wonderful picture up. All kinds of thoughts start swirling in my head.
ReplyDeleteClara, I do remember being so scared that someone was going to find out my interest because I'd be on spanking blogs. After more than 8 years now that hasn't happened, but I remember. I think you'll really like George's story. I wish you'd at least try a short story, I know Minelle would let me post her picture if you used it as your muse!
DeleteThank You Clara!
DeleteI definitely would let PK or anyone use my drawing! How flattering!
I love it when I see a new commenter pop up on my blog. That's why LOL day is such a boon, you get to see all of those like minded individuals and can reach out.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this. I added several new bloggers to my roll after LOL day.
Love our Lurker is a great day for sure. Sometimes people just need a little more encouragement.
DeletePK, glad to hear you had a great time together with family. It doesn't get much better than that! Thanks for letting me be a part of Fantasy Fridays. I will definitely have to go visit Clara and Annabelle.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
George
I always love being around family. I really appreciate you sharing your story with us.
DeleteI love your blog, PK. Unfortunately, I don't have much time anymore either. The good news is that for the most part our blogs stick around until we have time to come back. It used to be that I would spend a weekend in bed catching up on a whole series of tv shows, but now when I have that time, I read as many blogs as I can catch up on.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Time does seem to get away from us. I've gone the other way and let blogging and writing take up probably too much of my time, but I enjoy it. Glad to see you here.
DeleteThanks for doing all this, PK. I already know these lovely people and try to follow their blogs as often as I am able. Unfortunately these days I don't have as much time as I used to have - seems to be the way of things when you retire! LOL!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you had a good Thanksgiving. Must've been lovely having Mollie for the holiday.
Hugs
Ami
Please don't tell me I'll have LESS time when I retire, I'm counting on more time to write! It was great having Mollie here.
DeleteGlad you enjoyed your time with family. Glad you and Nick are finding your time for each other. Thanks for the introductions and links to blogs...I will look forward to getting to know them better... :-) Hugs
ReplyDeleteI know you enjoyed your Thanksgiving too. I hope you'll enjoy getting to know them.
DeleteHappy for you PK - Nick is doing good by you. :)
ReplyDeletehugs,
Cali
He's the best, Cali!
DeleteHey PK...happy you had a good Thanksgiving holiday and Nick is following through! I know that Michael over at Blossom and Thorn was introducing new blogs until he put their blog on hiatus due to illness but I thought Bonnie and someone (Ronnie maybe?) were continuing to collect blogs. I might be wrong. Anyway, thanks for sharing these blogs.
ReplyDeleteHugs and Blessings...
Cat
This was great PK. I remember when Bonnie would share new blogs....I think Hermione did too...?
ReplyDeleteGlad your Thanksgiving was wonderful! I love when my daughter cooks for me. However I would always be eating......that isn't good.
LOVE that things are going right along with you and Nick and your Fridays and even more too, PK! :) It makes me smile!! SO happy for you!
ReplyDeleteGlad that you had a nice weekend. Thanks for sharing and talking about new bloggers. I too have been thinking that I need to go around and get current as time permits! Great post! Many hugs,
<3 Katie
