I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Don't leave me out! Holiday Meme

Can't resist a good meme. So I grabbed this from all my friends who have already done it.

Wrapping Paper or Gift Bags?
Mostly like to wrap unless the shape is just too strange.

Hardest person to buy for?
My thirty-year-old nephew, I never see him and he won’t give anyone a hint.

Easiest person to buy for?
Mollie, good grief – her list could wrap around the house!

Do you have a nativity scene?
I do.

Mail or email Christmas Cards?
I’m not much to send out cards at all.

Worst Christmas Gift ever received?
As a child I wasn’t too excited when an aunt gave me a slip.

Favorite Christmas movie?
I love ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’

When do you start shopping for Christmas?
Mollie’s birthday is in October, I usually start then.

Have you ever recycled a present?
I have if I think it’s something someone else will like.

Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?
Cookies, cakes, crackers, cheese ball, candy, pie, cake…

White or colored lights on tree?
I like both, but we usually have a tree with white lights.

Favorite Christmas song?
What Child is This

Travel or stay home at Christmas?
We usually take turns. This year my sister and family are coming here, but we live pretty close. I’m glad my son and SIL are coming from the big city.

Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?
I can. You have no idea how much useless information is in my head.

Angel, Star or as tree topper?
Usually an angel.

Open presents Christmas Eve or morning?
We go to Nick’s folks and open gifts Christmas Eve, with our little family Christmas morning and then my sister’s family Christmas afternoon.

Favorite theme or ornament?
Any ornament with a picture of my kids, especially when they were little.

Favorite for Christmas dinner?
Anything I don’t have to cook, but I do like turkey.

What do you want for Christmas?
Same thing I want for Valentines Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, May Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, and my birthday – to retire!

Who is most likely to respond to this meme?

I think I’m one of the last ones.

  1. LOL PK...not quite last...I still haven't done mine. :) Loved your answers but you did surprise me with your answer for what you want for Christmas...figured you would say "Same thing I want for Valentines Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, May Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, and my birthday – to get a spanking!" *snicker*

    Hugs and Blessings...Cat

    1. I told Mollie when I'm in the rest home I'll just need a little tree with 'their' ornament on it.

  6. I was thinking the same as Cat and Katie and Roz...about what you want for all the holidays...we must think you like to be spanked or something :-) (It's what I secretly want anyway - or not so secretly) :-) Glad you joined in! :-) Hugs
