Peace

My little stove was installed New Years Day. I feel as though I have my own peaceful little world within my home. No TV out here. I do have my Bose player for my ipod. Big windows overlooking our back yard, a sofa, two comfy chairs, the lights on a dimmer switch. I like it, I like it a lot. It’s a place to read, to write, to contemplate. Sometime it will be a place for family. This coming weekend we will celebrate our Christmas with the boys along with my sister’s family. It can be a place to have small parties and entertain friends. It can be a quiet place for private conversations.


But mostly it’s going to be my private little retreat. The older I get the more I seem to want a space like this. I thought I might spend all my time out here reading the kindle but I have a feeling I’m going to be doing a lot of writing too. Although I don’t usually post real pictures I did want to share this room with all of you. Hope everyone reading here has a place to go where you feel as comfortable.
