I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Wanna write

What’s wrong with me? When I’m away from my computer – in the car, at the gym, anywhere – things I want to write about swirl around in my head. Things like situation that annoy me, things that confuse me, just things I might want to share out here, but when I get to the lap top – nothing. I tend to click around looking at other blogs, checking out comments, maybe leaving a few, checking facebook.

I don’t like it when I feel like this because when I can’t get the stuff out of my head it tends to grow and bother me and then I get down. It’s so dumb. Does anyone else ever have this problem?

  1. All the time. Its real bad after I would have an arguement, all the things I really wanted to say or the good points come to mind after things have clamed down. As for posting blogs or any thing of the nature I tend to have the same problems. Writers block I guess.

  3. I get inspired at the darndest times! While driving, in meetings, watching TV. I try to scribble down a pertinent phrase or two, then type out a more detailed post ASAP.

I write as inspirations come, and store the results as individual text files on my computer. Then I hunt for an appropriate picture or two, and assemble and post on Blogger when I have spare time. I have a bunch of half-finished or barely-started posts too. But I have something to fall back on if there's nothing waiting in the Scheduled queue.

    Sounds anal, doesn't it?

    Hugs,
    Hermione

  5. Yes, I can relate. It seems like since Luke left my writing mojo is hiding. I did start to keep a note book in my purse so when an idea does come up, I can expand on it later.

  6. Once I am all moved in I want to find my digital recorder. Then my ideas won't get lost,at least I hope they don't. I have been kicking around the idea of starting my own blog for about six months now,and Sir is ALL for it. Don't be so hard on yourself though, writer's block is going around right now, must be the season! :) I love your blog.

  7. It's frustrating, isn't it? Happens to me more often than I'd like it to.

Off to Facebook, maybe I'll find you there.

    Love you!

  9. Lynn,
I think writer block sucks! I like writing better that face to face because when writing I do have time to think before I 'speak'.

    Theresa,
I think it used to be easier.

    Hermione,
You sound like me. I have fiction stories started, posts about a variety of things, Cassie stories but everything is unfinished.

    Paul,
Knowing you come by whether or not I write anything good is an encouragement.

    Katia,
I always think I'll really have plenty of time to write when Nick is away but it never seems to happen.

    Scunge,
I really do hope you start a blog. I bet you'd love it. I got a digital recorder for Christmas. I can record ideas but I can't say posts into it - somehow it embarrasses me.

    CeeCi,
I am so glad you are enjoying facebook! Love seeing you there.

    Sam,
I just hope it is a passing thing for all of us and that we'll all be writing like crazy soon.

  10. I do try and make little notes if I spot or hear something and put them in drafts, also save pics when I find any interesting ones I think everyone will enjoy.

Take heart my friend, all the best writers suffer this, your writing will be flowing again soon.

    Love,
    Ronnie

  11. PK: Maybe a good spanking would get you back in your groove. LOL.

Seriously, hope you get your muse back soon. We miss your thoughts and insights.

    PK,
I couldn't write for a month. Now I can't stop writing. It comes and goes. Don't worry about it my friend.
