I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Answers, answers!

Thanks for the questions guys!

Abby asked, if you won a vacation to any place in the world...where would you go?

With so many beautiful places on this planet it’s hard to choose, but right up there at the top is Williamsburg, VA. I love the history and the feel of the place. So peaceful – maybe I lived there in a past life.

When did you first discover you were a spanko?

I can’t remember not being a spanko. My first clear memory is when I was four or five. I took a TV tray to the hallway, draped a towel over it and sat under it (in hiding) making up spanking stories.

If you were not a teacher, what would be your career of choice?

My first career was as a licensed veterinary technician and I really love it. I love the medical end of it, especially the surgery end of it. And I loved working with the animals in general. But at that time there were no benefits and the pay was low, so I went back to school to teach. Now I’m anxious to be finish with the teaching career to concentrate on writing full time.

Ronnie asked, what first attracted you to Nick?

We met at a friend’s party and I thought he was good looking. He had a beard and I found that very attractive. We enjoyed talking that night. We dated casually for a while and as we got closer I noticed that when we would be kissing, he would stop and talk to me, I wasn’t just someone to make out with, he talked to me. That made an impression.

EsMay asked, As for questions... what is the best change that has happened in your life over the past year?

There have been two wonderful changes, my son married a wonderful man and I love being a mother-in-law! Knowing my son is settled and happy is comforting.

But for me personally, hands down, it was getting the Cassie books launched. I’ve been daydreaming (never believing it would actually happen) about doing this for forty-five years.

DelFonte asked, what is your ideal environment or place for writing or are you an anywhere person?

The answer to that is definitely both! Years ago we tore off the deck and built a sunroom overlooking the pool and back yard. That’s my favorite place to write. I can open the windows and turn on the ceiling fan in the summer, or fire up the gas logs in the winter. I won’t put a TV in my writing room, out there it’s just me and all the people that live in my head.  But when I can’t get there I can also write in my head anywhere, driving, waiting in line at the bank, even falling asleep.

Kate asked, Other than spanking, and making love, what are some of your favorite things to do when you and Nick spend time together?

We don’t travel a lot, but we do enjoy it. Often we like to go on day trips to take pictures. Nick is an excellent photographer and I’m okay. We especially like old houses, or historical sites.

I really enjoy this; if anyone has more questions, please, ask away.

  3. Interesting, people have so many different facets to them. I love Williamsburg also. We have a wonderful recreated early American village nearby...it is a wonderful place to stroll and learn. Thanks for answering.

  5. Sun room sound divine. We have a conservatory, but the light is so bright I can't see my computer screen. I write anywhere too, sometimes the best is written once in my head and then forgotten!

    1. DF, I know what you are saying by the extra light - but I can usually work around it. Sometimes I write with my ball cap on and the bill pulled down! Don't you hate it when you have a good line in your head and you lose it.

  8. I loved reading your answers PK! :) I'm with you on the beard thing. Rob grew a beard when we first started dating many moons ago and I LOVE it! He has only shaved it off a couple of times but I always beg him to grow it right back. Every now and then he threatens to do the same. I think that I like the scratchy kissing!! LOL. Well I do but I think it makes them look very distinguished and hot!!!! ;)

I love photography as well. Rob has expressed a recent interest in the same. Have you ever posted a photo that you have taken. Thanks PK. :) Many hugs,

    <3 Katie

    1. Katie,
I've never seen Nick with out a beard, and I don't want to. Yet poor LJ can't grow one to save his life. On here I've posted a few picture of my writing room and on FB I put up picture of the kids, of course, but Nick post his and they are fantastic.

  9. Enjoying reading your answers. :) I have a question. I've seen a lot of bloggers who choose a word that they want to focus on for the year, like "Dream", or "Stretch" or "Prioritize" or "Balance", etc. If you were to choose a word (or phrase) that embodies what is important to you at this time in your life, what would it be?

    Hugs,
    Tracy
