Geography

I avoided it as long as I could but I finally caught the cold circling my family. It's a nasty one for sure and my voice is gone - completely gone. Nick says a teacher without a voice is like a lion tamer without their whip and chair. LOL! I think he's right. I worked half a day yesterday but I'm taking today off to rest and NOT talk. Maybe I can lick this thing.

Meanwhile, I thought you might like the following that a friend sent me. Remember we have a brand new Fantasy Friday coming up this week - don't forget to come back.

GEOGRAPHY OF A WOMAN

Between 18 and 22, a woman is like Africa -

half discovered, half wild, fertile and naturally beautiful!

Between 23 and 30, a woman is like Europe -

Well-developed and open to trade, especially for something of real value.

Between 31 and 35, a woman is like Spain -

very hot, relaxed, and convinced of her own beauty.

Between 36 and 40, a woman is like Greece -

gently aging, but still a warm and desirable place to visit.

Between 41 and 50, a woman is like Great Britain -

with a glorious and all-conquering past.

Between 51 and 60, a woman is like Israel -

has been through war, doesn't make the same mistakes twice, and takes care of business.

Between 61 and 70, a woman is like Canada -

Cool, self-preserving, but open to meeting new people.

After 70, she becomes Tibet -

wildly beautiful, with a mysterious past and the wisdom of the ages... An adventurous spirit and a thirst for spiritual knowledge.

THE GEOGRAPHY OF A MAN

Between 1 and 90, a man is like Iran -

ruled by nuts.

Hi,

Thought I would drop you a note about The Library of Spanking Fiction website which may be of interest to your blog readers. The site is a free online archive containing over 5,500 spanking stories by a wide variety of authors. It has sophisticated search facilities allowing you to locate the kind of spanking stories you have a particular interest in. Although still in progress, each story will have a short synopsis and be classified in terms of the implements used and the age, orientation and gender of the participants. Authors have their own pages where all there works are listed along with an optional biography and contact email address.

The URL is http://www.spankinglibrary.co.cc/

Best wishes,

Februs

PK: Well, you really understand men. But why stop at 90? Till they take their last breath is probably more accuragte. LOL.

And hope you can beat the cold. Knock on wood, I've avoided one this winter.

Is a spanking a cure for a cold? LOL.

PK, I think that I'm going to take this personally, if you have ever seen a old man pout, not a pretty sight.
This is a different version from the one that I know.
Love and warm hugs,
Paul.

pk,
I hope you get better, I got the cold last week sometime and by this past weekend I had lost my voice. I've got it back but the cold is hanging on. I hope you get better

Okay, now that was funny! Also, it's great to meet a fellow teacher - at least, I'm in college working towards a teaching degree. Best of luck with the cold, trying to work with one is AWFUL, especially with a bunch of kids to reign in!

Thanks for the giggle =D

Februs,
Thanks for the information, I'll check it out.

FD,
At least men are consistent!

I'm feeling better but I still don't have my voice back completely.

Paul,
Now don't pout, you are still one of my favorite men ever. Nick gave me a noisy raspberry when he read it.

jslittlelady,
This has been a really nasty one. I'm feeling better but the voice isn't coming back fast.

Maggie,
Glad I gave you a giggle!

What age are you planning to work with. It's an interesting profession.

Secondary school, hopefully... I've spent a lot of time working with early, elementary, middle, and high school students and in the end I really enjoy working with the pre-teens and teenagers. What age do you teach?

PK,

I read this yesterday but came back to comment. It really made me think of being a woman and what that means as we age and (hopefully in my case mature emotionally lol!). I was intropspective and thoughtful and then I scanned down to see the Geography of Men & laughed so hard I couldn't remember any of my 'profundity'!! Thanks for this laugh I'll need it to warm me!
