Sky tagged me to write six unusual things about myself. This has taken some thought. As Sky pointed out what may seem unusual to some seems perfectly ordinary to others. So I will just go with some that other people tell me are unusual and some that I think are unusual.
- I really like peanuts, but hate peanut butter. I do not want nuts in my cake or candy! Why would anyone want to ruin the moist texture of cake with little hard rock-like pieces??
- My first memory of mind blogging happened near my 4th birthday. Okay I didn’t have a name for it but that was what it was. I have never stopped. I created a whole other life full of richly detailed characters. I haven’t actually ‘gone over’ since I started this blog but occasionally the character burst into my mind to let me know they are still round.
- I received a Bible at church for reciting all the books of the Bible when I was four.
- I nearly failed the 6th grade. I did not like the teacher so I did nothing. I would occasionally do my work but when she asked for it I usually didn’t feel like looking for it so I just didn’t turn it in. Now that I have taught 6th grade for 20 years I often feel like I am in one of those movies where someone has to keep repeating the same day until they get it right!
- I kept my hair in a perm for the last 27 years. I just stopped when I started blogging. It has something to do with wanting the changes in me to be noticeably.
If Kallisto blogged naked, she'd never get a post finished! Still, it's a great concept! Nice post!
ReplyDeleteOk now I have a mental vision of you blogging naked!
ReplyDeleteI did the whole thing in my head like you my whole life. I still do. Being with Will is the only thing that makes the thoughts go away.
I nearly failed the 7th grade, I think it was puberty, and that dreaded teacher!
Hugs
Theresa
i don't like nuts in cookies, ruins the whole experience for me
ReplyDeleteYou aren't in the least weird PK, at least no weirder that I. WEG.
ReplyDeleteWarm hugs,
Paul.
Blogging nekkid with socks and gloves? A whole lot of typos to be had that way! :-)
ReplyDeleteThose weren't all that unusual I didn't think. I was kind of surprised by the 6th grade thing.
~Hugs!
Spanky,
ReplyDeleteIt might be worth a try but prehaps waiting until warmer weather will be our best bet!
Sorry about the mental vision Theresa, I never meant to do that to you!
That mind thing is powerful isn't it?
BON.com, Amen!
Paul,
Thanks. Out here everyone seems very normal.
Maggie,
I do think the typos will be a problem and about the 6th grade thing my mother was pretty surprised too!
I think it's neat what you said about having changed your hair style because you wanted the changes in you to be noticeable ... I've never thought about it before, but I think I did some of the same things!
ReplyDeleteAnd the mind blogging thing is too cool ...
hugs!

ReplyDeleteCindy,
ReplyDeleteIt's funny about the change. I feel like a different person. Mind blogging means never having to be bored!

Judging by the comments you've had, Elis, it's all a matter of perspective! I admit I like number 6!! Thanks for joining in.
