I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Excellent Weekend

*If you get the chance please go by here. A dear friend is giving me a shout out and you can read an excerpt from the new book.

It’s been quite a weekend. Mollie flew to the big city where they're predict snow and bitter, bitter cold. She doesn’t listen to her mama. This means I’m babysitting for the cat and the pup. So her travels have been on my mind.

Second, the book came out! It’s Returning to Us, a Corbin’s Bend book. It’s doing well and I’m really excited. It’s always exciting as I hold my breath to hear what others think of it. I hope many of you will give it a try.

The third, and most exciting, thing this weekend was a visit from Katie T herself! She was in my neck of the woods and stopped in for a visit. She got to meet Nick and Mollie and all the critters. We went out to eat – because I’m not about to cook for someone who knows how. And of course we went wild and got into worlds of trouble just like Cassie and Sue and Annie…

Well, maybe not exactly. But I did show her my little town. We went all over and  hit all the exciting places. When that twenty minutes was over we went to lunch.

Later that afternoon, when Mollie asked what we were up to I was able to thrill her with stories of me drawing and Katie T knitting. But just so we don’t seem totally dull, I will report that we bestirred ourselves long enough to go to the gym and walk on the indoor track for two miles.

Maybe we’re not wild and crazy but we did have a wonderful time together. We discussed all manner of spanky things and it is fun to be able to discuss that topic with someone who understands.

Now, please, everyone go read a new book!

I had a wonderful, wonderful time, PK!! ❤️ I loved seeing all of the places that you have spoken about in the past, as well as meeting Nick, Molly and furry family members too! I felt very much at home, and so enjoyed our time together chatting away about everything and anything! It was fun to go back to the restaurant where we met for the first time, a few years back too! Weren’t we good to do that walking? Go us!!! Thanks again for everything! I miss you! Many hugs and love,

    ❤️Katie xoxo

    1. I'm really proud of this new book. But my heart will always belong to the Cassie Space series. I hope you try one some time. The first one, Cassie's Space is 99 cent right now.

  8. That weekend sounds pretty perfect, PK. I bet there was a lot of jawing going on alongside the drawing and knitting. Very virtuous fitting a visit to the gym too!

Oh wow. What a wonderful weekend. I can't imagine what it woudl be like to sit across the table from a ttwd friend. (Truly, up until a few months ago, I couldn't imagine even knowing another ttwd friend) How fun!

And congratulations on the book! So -- question for you. As a newbie, I've not ready any of your books yet. Where should I start?? I'm looking forward to diving in some good reading material. :) :)

    Hugs, -- shell

    1. I remember my very first TTWD friend and the amazing feelings that went along with the discovery. This weekend was great.

Now for your question - a very dangerous one to ask a writer, my answer alone could take you weeks to read! But truly Cassie's Space, my first book is a great place to start. When I found all this and began reading I knew what I was looking for. A love story. I didn't need a whole lot of graphic sex. I know how sex works and I didn't need an anatomy lesson. I personally wasn't looking for dungeons, whips, chains, master/slave - I just wanted a love story that incorporated spanking. I finally wrote just what I wanted to read. Cassie and Tom mean a lot to me. As the series goes on I like that the stories got more in depth and that you get to know the secondary characters better, but try Cassie's Space and see if you like Cassie and Tom. And please be sure to let me know if you do.

You and I sounds a lot alike. Thanks PK. That's what I'm finding with my blogging as well. I don't want/need to share those graphic intimate details - I want folks to get the whole picture - how this lifestyle incorporates everything. The dynamic, not the technicalities. Thanks PK - I'll look for that one and start there!

    3. PK, the book is great! I think we can all relate to it. All relationships like ours run into hurdles along the way, either at the beginning or we get stuck somewhere in the middle. I really related to Susan's feelings throughout the book.
NOW, SHELL--GO GET CASSIE'S SPACE RIGHT NOW and start falling in love with Cassie and everyone else in the books. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. THEY ARE ALL WONDERFUL. BUT START AT THE BEGINNING AND SAVOR EVERY WORD!!!
