I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Disconnected

Just wanted to pop in and let everyone know I’m still alive and well. This is an incredibly busy week. This weekend I’m going to a writing workshop with a friend. She loves these workshops I’m not sure yet, but I’m willing to give it a try. I’ll let you know what I think of it.

My computer is all well now, thank goodness. But I’m still just feeling – off. I don’t feel connected at the moment, not with my blog, not with my writing, not with Nick. I feel like I’m walled off from everything. This happens ever so often. I don’t know what brings it on or how to make it go away, but for now I have the blahs.  I wish it would go away.

  4. PK hope you enjoy the workshop. Maybe its contagious as I'm feeling disconnected also. Just want to curl up in a ball and shut the whole world out. Hope it soon passes for you. Take care.

  5. PK, sorry to hear that you have computer issues. I have felt very disconnected from everything for many weeks now. Another beach sister just gave me a gentle kick in the ass. Just what was needed, actually.

Just starting to put my toes back in the water. Oh, that comment makes me think of Florida.

    Love,
    Still Tired Ella

  8. Hope you'll enjoy the workshop It's no where near the coast, is it?
There's a few of us that seem to be in the doldrums - maybe it's the anticipation of the holidays ahead - always stressful.

I relate to the blahs. Hope you enjoy your workshop and time with your friend - sometimes a change of pace can work wonders. And if it helps to hear - I love your blog - it's so appreciated.

  13. I think there are a few of us down in the dumps at the moment for one reason or another. The onset of winter doesn't help any. We have to keep soldiering on, things will get better. Hope you managed to get to your workshop.
