I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

I've got a good one for you

I survived one day of testing – for me it was mind-numbingly boring. Three hours where you can’t read, can’t write, can’t eat, can’t drink, and they would rather you not sit. We are to stare at the children. But as I said, I survived. Today is the last day of testing. Much of Wednesday is taken up with awards day and Thursday is field day and we get out at noon. It’s coming, it’s coming!

You know I tell you here about my books – you know, just look to the left – click on any of the books and feel free to buy them – but truly I try to keep the book pushing over at the Reading Room. But a good friend has written one I do want to tell you about. Sadly, as good as the book is, there is no spanking in it. However, we all need to take a brake from only one type of book and this one will expand your horizons. The author is my friend Donna Steele.

Here’s the blurb: - David Morrow has studied global warming first as a prodigy and now as a respected professor. He knows the value of sustainability and clean energy. But is it too late for the planet? He expected the rising of the seas, harsh hundred-year storms, but he never expected this.
Amanda Sutton first studied medicine to please her father, now she’s part of the scramble to find a cure before the virus destroys civilization. Will the strange connection between them keep them together as the world disintegrates around them?

Donna says: Yes, I like to write the end of the world and the day after stories. I love to see how people step up and handle significant even overwhelming changes in their life.

You can go over to the Reading Room and read a longer excerpt and you can go by Donna’s blog to learn more about her and her books.
