I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Special Day

I'm not really back, I will be soon, but I'm not now.  Yesterday was a hard one at school. Today won't be any better.  I know it's the last week, but it not going down without a fight.  The new computer is good.  I expect it to eventually be great, but I'm going to have to have more than two brain cells functioning at the same time to be able learn all it's wonders.  That won't be happening this week.

I need to post today because it is a special day.  Today is our anniversary!  Nick and I have been married 29 years today. Should anyone every plan on going into teaching, one piece of advice - don't get married at the end of the school year!! I don't think my head has ever been in the game for our anniversary for at least 23 years.  Don't worry, we'll make up for lost time.  I may be out of it, but I still know I am married to the most wonderful man ever - he cooks, he cleans, he goes to the grocery store, he does laundry, he takes care of the cars, the lawn, the pool and me!  He loves me, he spoils me, he makes me feel sexy and desirable - and that's a wonderful thing when you're 55 and not built exactly like a fashion model.

Thank you Nick, for being my friend, my husband, and my lover.

  5. Congrats!!! It still makes no sense that I've been married longer than you. Oh, and don't worry about this wretched work week. I'll be happy to count down the minutes for you since I got nothing better to do!

  6. Eva,
Just wanted to pop in here really quickly to say, of course you've been married longer than we have. You also have grandchildren. You're obviously way older than me.

And thanks for the count down, you're so kind.

    Love you twin

Happy Anniversary. I Know that you both worked hard to have this kind of marriage, he sounds like a winner.
