I have been a wife and mother for over twenty years. Now I am becoming my husband's lover, too.
We owe it all to my fellow bloggers who gave me the courage to come out to my husband as a spanko.
I do feel like this is a New Beginning for us.

Glad to be home

I’m exhausted. The beach vacation was okay, but I really missed Nick and I missed being home.  My brain feels a little numb.  But I still wanted to post. I did a lot of thinking while I was driving.  I thought about Grace’s post asking what you think about when you’re being spanked.  I thought about a new friend out here who helped me out and gave me a lot to think about.  I listened to Cassie and was very happy about what she shared with me.

When I got home I was happy with the kitchen progress.  Nick had painted; I’m pleased with the color we picked.  We’re hoping to get the cabinets back in by Friday or Monday.  All of this has to be done by the family reunion in August.  So far I’ve heard from family in Florida, Georgia, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania and California that are definitely coming.  Good crowd to see the new kitchen.  I’ll have pictures when it all gets done.

Now as soon as I get some rest I hope to have a few posts about all I’ve been thinking about lately.  It sure is good to be home.

  2. I sure hope you were not thinking about me, while driving. There should be a law forbidding that. I have a very bad reputation as a annoying backseat driver.
Although it would certainly be a big honour to be in your thoughts together with Grace and Cassie. I still think it's extremely dangerous and you had better concentrate on the road.
Please share Cassie's story with us.

  4. PK,
it's always good to be home.
So who does the cooking for the reunions, as you don't like cooking?
    Love and warm hugs,
    Paul.

  8. Glad you're back and happy you had a good time.

Sorry the kitchen reno was completed but it moved ahead and you can see light at the end of the tunnel.

You need to be thinking a good reward for Nick for all his hard work.

  10. Ronnie,
I missed all you guys too!

    Ummm, Bas,
Actually you were on my mind. But I promise I’m quite used to thinking and driving and I have a great safety record. Cassie story tomorrow.

    FA,
I think I will have time to write some this week.

    Paul,
One of my cousins does Saturday night, and believe it or not, I do Sunday lunch for everyone. I can usually handle it one day a year.

    SNP,
And I’m sleeping late and writing until school starts – bitter and jealous now? LOL, actually I’ll be doing a lot of painting and moving furniture.

    Minelle,
The cold is gone and almost all the cough. I’m pleased, sometimes the cough last for weeks and weeks. Can’t say I really got any R & R, but some and this week should be all right.

    Faerie,
I am ready to write for sure! I think I’ll have time.

    Sunnygirl,
At least I’m seeing some progress and I’m more than happy to see that Nick gets his reward!

    Hey Twin,
    ME TOO!

  11. Glad you're back. Renovations are usually a nightmare, seems you've been through the worst of it now. Sure it will look great when complete.

  12. Patty,
I do think the worst is over. But it will be great when it's done.
